Hi Nathan. I know you'll read this. You are quickly losing your status as the Husky nation fan favorite recruit in this class. You're either a Dawg or you're not. Ain't no in-between. Best decide for yourself what you are soon before Coach Pete decides for you because you won't like his decision. Nut up son!StrongArmCobra said:
Okay! I'll be sure to tell Lubick that @WeakarmCobra on Hardcore Husky says to either beat USC for a 5-star WR from Southern California or get the fuck out.WeakarmCobra said:
No fucks are given, sell them on it. USC pulled two good TE and they don’t use itStrongArmCobra said:Let's not ignore the fact that Bush had a much easier job selling UW's offense to WR's when they were coming off the 2016 season in which they had the #1 offense in the conference and Ross+Pettis torched a bunch of secondaries.
Lubick now has a much more difficult job ahead of him with UW coming off a season of offensive mediocrity and a terrible offensive performance in the Pac-12 title game. Sure, most recruits know Browning sucks but they also don't know if Bush Hamdan sucks or not and frankly, neither do we. On top of that, USC just hired Kingsbury who now has all Cali WR recruits buzzing because the air raid is so WR friendly.
Ford is probably going to SC now because of the Kingsbury hire.

A. None of that is at all relevant to this discussion
B. Obviously he read it and it made an impact. He stopped fucking around with other schools and locked himself in soon after that incident. You're welcome. -
I mean I’m all for a good rant, but don’t shit on my kalepo, only the coaches can do thatHillsboroDuck said:
OMG he tweeted something pro-UW!? I guess it's okay then that he's openly whoring himself out to other schools as a commit. I mean, as long as your girlfriend tells you she loves you it doesn't matter she's sucking someone else's dick on a regular basis with no plans of stopping. C'mon people. We've been above recruiting kids that play games like this since CP got here and it doesn't need to change now for us to beat the big boys. Kalepo is an O-line version of Tre'Shaun Harrison except Tre'Shaun was a real baller. This kid's film is trash. He's a 3-star Guard prospect. Let him commit to SC only to be dropped by them later and end up at Oregon where he'll never beat UW.StrongArmCobra said:

Ngata ties:
- Ariel & being on campus a ton
- Jake
Ford ties:
- Julius Irvin
- Keith Taylor
- Soon to be Trent McDuffie
- Summer training wit Brandon Mckinney
- Coached by Austin Pettis who has a good relationship with Bush
- Good relationship with Dante
- No USC family ties & is friends with Bru (said he’d take Ryan Hillinski over JT)
If you can’t get that kid when USC goes 5-7 and you have Eason, Sirmon, Huard waiting in the wings GTFOH. Period. -
Glad to see the board stopped taking its Antiretroviral meds. Just when the AIDS was in remission @StrongArmCobra can't help but cause a full blown relapse.

Either Lubick is heading elsewhere next year or Pete doesn't trust him alone with recruits.
I believe he closed Yankoff?
Lubick may suck but I’m not ready to go there yet.
Several thought Huff sucked, too. He’s demonstrated he can recruit the results from the development side—positive—recently kicked in.
Lubick, not so much.
He inherited Pettis, Fuller(.831 composite), Baciella (.85) Chico (.875) Chin (.838) and Hamden’s talented but inexperienced incoming freshman Jones, Bynum, and Cook. Special thanks to Peterman for keeping Brent Pease too long!
Lubick leveled WR recruiting way up, inking Spiker (.970), Osborne (.918), Lowe (.901) Culp (.881), and QB Yankoff (.956).
On the field, Fuller (.831 composite) and Baciella (.85),while not flashy, have developed into productive pieces. YPC is way up. Ty Jones remains a work in progress who hopefully raises his game another level next year.

2018 Receviers
Not counting the current recruiting cycle, I’d give Lubbick an A in both development and recruiting.
It speaks volumes to Peterman’s offense that Spiker and Osborne haven’t played, considering the limited WR rotation.
If Lubick whiffs on Ford—or a similar ceiling prospect this cycle— he drops down, but is a far cry from needing to GTFO (Hi Bob and PowPow!)

I'd love a report from @jamesosborne1959

If you really put that much stock into rankings, Lubick has three 4* WR’s from the 2017 class. Two have them have done nothing. Jones is good, but he should be a lot better considering his talent.Baseman said:

I think a lot of the disappointment in the WR’s is a result of Browning, but Lubick deserves some shit. -
He’ll end up at Illinois

I think a lot of the disappointment in the WR’s is a result of Browning, but Lubick deserves some shit.
Jones has 28 receptions 464 yds and 6 TDS. In comparison Dante Pettis as a sophomore had 30 receptions 414 yards and 1 TD. Jones skill set is for boundary balls and deep curls, not exactly Browning strengths.
FR and SO WRs don’t contribute in Peterman’s offense. Not here and excluding Titus Young and Austin Pettis, not at Boise. Kellen Moore had a lot to do with that.
Getting production out of sub 5’10 180 lb WRs, Fuller and Baciella, merits respect.
I hate excuses and unproductive coaches. At this point, Lubick doesn’t deserve any shit. If he whifs on this class, that’s a different story.

I’m mostly Posi Lubick but Osborne committed before Hamden left, he gets no credit for him. Spiker was set to commit when Hamdan left but waited a bit to make sure he was comfortable with his replacement. Lubick gets some credit here but probably only 25%ish.Baseman said:

Maybe so but historically when a recruiting coach leaves, the recruits look around. Osborne was commited to Peterman and the school. Lubick ultimatly got Spikers commitment and held on to him for nine months until signing day.HillsboroDuck said:

If Lubick whiffs on this class, the WRs go backwards next year, and he whiffs on the following class, GTFO.
I wanted Malloe gone after we lost Tui and he couldn’t even get a meeting to try and hold him together. Guess I was wrong on that one. -

You can’t fire Lubick for Jake sucking and not using Ty. You can fire him for being Brent pease 2.0 and whiffing in recruiting.
All the 4 stars don’t play because Pete’s dumbass offense makes you win matchups on your own. Problem is the two WR’s who are good enough route runners are the two least dynamic on the whole roster. That’s why you see Aaron run a picture perfect slant on 4th & 6 but it gets broken up cuz he’s a pussy physically. HS kids aren’t precise enough to win matchups against college corners without a pick, over and under concept, or formation facilitation to just step in. Let alone step in with a shitty QB. That’s why you see Bynum and Cook just now being thrown in.
Kyle is one of the best HS route runners I’ve seen combined with a big and strong frame so he’d be the only one who wouldn’t need a redshirt year to get acclimated. But with the ACL tear he’ll prolly RS anyways. -
