Pretty clear now the offer means we missed on them, it just doesn't always mean that. Last year everyone freaked out when we offered Jayden Williams because they thought we missed on McDuffie, we didn't. Sometimes you offer the backup plan before you know you'll need them.

I guess I was hoping we were unsure about Taylor and wanted to start working on West as a backup. I felt pretty good about Yurosek but I guess I shouldn't have trusted Paopao to not fuck that up.

Can we cut Poapoa lose now?

If we lose Yurosek too, then yes. But I think we get him.
@LaMichael_Corleone You went back and found all of those but left out my first one regarding the subject?

I know I was wrong about getting him, but thats beside the point!
WHOA i like my mousecop I’m not saying you’re wrong AT ALL. My point is that I’m a lil disappointed at how fast we dooged on this offer instead of start to rumble about Paopao losing “EASY” (I know I’m drunk) recruits like Thomas and Yurosek.

@Neighbor2972 and others are too smart and loved by me to fall for that 3 TE’s and that this offer doesn’t mean we just lost other targets BULLSHIT. Just like K-Patt didn’t get offered until after Wolfe, Tae, and Archer, just like Cooper McDonald got offered right after Botelho and Smalls and just like how Bruener didn’t get an offer until after Herbig WHEN YOUR COACH BRAGS ABOUT HOW SELECTIVE OUR OFFERS ARE ITS PRETTY FUCKING EASY TO SEE WHEN WE MISS!!

(@neighbor2972 is excuses because I can totally understand some dooging after the Jalen thing and who knows if we get Yurosek tomorrow I look like a retard)
Just arguing man, no "WHOA" needed. In all honesty though you might be one of the biggest doogs considering the time you spend twatting at Jordan Banks when we all know its a lost cause.
Lol “I’m not arguing but let me insults you” hahah. I was also the most active on Kyle Ford does that mean I think he’s coming here? It’s almost like those guys are such long shots you almost have to tweet them cuz you know our coaches won’t do shit.

Yurosek seems to me like a Stanford guy. There has to some possibility he’s a Buck or Sam.

Taylor seems like a less than 50% chance too, especially with this new offer going out.

Could Ben Yurosek be this years Connor Weddington? UW still hopes to get Yurosek to commit to them before signing with the Cardinal.

That'd be great if Yurosek became this year's Wedington. That means he commits to the in-state school and then decommits to commit to an out-of-state school. The Wedington playbook is being played out perfectly.

Why do we continue to enable Paopao and Gregory?

PaoPao sucks, but to be disappointed because he got Yurosek and Redman would be stupid.
Yurosek is a great athlete but he's stiffer than a fence post. He has no wiggle with the ball in his hands like Redman and Taylor do. There's a gap between those two and Yurosek and then another gap between Yurosek and this kid.
When it comes to tight ends, "wiggle" is way down the list of attributes I give a fuck about.
It's literally the one thing that separates the greats from the average at the position. JAG TE's catch the ball and get tackled. The greats make guys miss and break tackles and turn short gains into explosive plays and touchdowns.
Sure. A guy like Witten with zero moves is going to be a first ballot hall of famer, but wiggle is what separates the goods from greats. Yurosek is going to be 6'5" 250 when he sees the field. I don't care if he can't juke for shit at that size. You probably want all your quarterbacks to have six packs too.
Witten is the Wes Welker of Tight Ends. But sure, everybody prefers stiff guys over more athletic guys right? I'm sure Yurosek will be a future hall of famer like Witten right? You would take Witten over Gronk or Travis Kelce right? Logic is hard for you.
I would take any of those three. What a fucking stupid question.

This thread has AIDS. Fuck off, wiggle arguers. Paopao is a fine coach, but on a scale of 1-10 as a recruiter he’s a fucking ZERO. Fire his fucking ass. We already have too many coaches who can’t recruit.

Paopao gets an obvious zero for last year's class, but getting Redman is a minimum 6. Add one of Taylor or Yurosek and it's an 8. Get all three and that's a fucking 10.

Oh my god you're so dumb. The point is, the chances of some stiff, lesser athlete becoming the next Jason Witten are extremely low. If you had the choice of between a stiff and a fluid athlete coming out of high school, you want the better athlete every time.

Is there any wiggle room in this argument?

yeah, what's the definition of "athletic" anyways? @strongarmcobra et al? ...

For TE's, it's guys that don't move like TE's. You put on the film and they look like big receivers running down the field. Their movement is fluid. They can change direction without losing speed. They are elusive with the ball in their hands and can weave through traffic and make smaller guys miss consistently. It's the difference between Kole Taylor's film and this kid's film. Taylor runs like a deer and looks like a WR weaving his way through the defense. This kid catches the ball and either gets tackled immediately or runs straight up field and gets tackled. There's zero elusiveness there and not a lot of speed. He's a possession TE whereas Taylor is more of a big play maker.

Cade Otton is a "stiff". It's pretty much the fucking definition of WTE. No one is arguing about your last point. Go ahead and take a few plays off.
Just because someone is white doesn't mean they don't have wiggle.

I knew I was high on their list and I’m feeling great right now.”

All I'm taking away from this offer now is Bryant ain't coming back.

    Yikes.

How many losses do you have to take before you just stop trying. Yurosek isn't coming here. Taylor is better than him and probably isn't coming either. Atheltic TE's are better than stiff ones (no shit). This West kid is a fucking JAG until proven otherwise. Just STFU.

Personally, I know WTE means something, but I don't know what. Warrior Tight End? I also know that BTE means something and I don't know what. Berserker Tight End? If you haven't read the board for years you don't understand half the shit that gets thrown out in here. It's a good ol' boys club and someone needs to make a glossary.
