Kizer doesn't suck and Culp remains to be seen. I don't care what state the talent comes from. You seem obsessed with that. A player is a player.StrongArmCobra said:

He gets credit for Bryant who will be 3 and out. Otton who will be playing on Sunday. Culp is an explosive athlete with potential to develop. Kizer would start for most D1 programs, will probably play Sunday.
UW has suffered a season ending injury to a starting TE the past two years and the unit was still strong. That's quality depth.
Still trying to see how he sucks at recruiting.
Mark Redman is the only elite out-of-state TE he's ever recruited and he's been here for a decade. That means you suck at recruiting. -
Kizer is worthless as a receiver. That means he fucking sucks. If you're not a complete TE, you fucking suck. If we have to take a WR off the field to put any TE on the field, that fucking TE has to be a quality receiver as well or else the passing game is weakened. What the fuck don't you understand about that? Putting a guy on the field that can only block is not what anybody wants. It damn sure isn't what the coaches want. It only happens when recruiting wasn't good enough at the TE position.Doogles said:

BLAH BLAh BLah Blah blah. Are we winning games? Do our TE’s produce? Kizer has never been asked to catch a pass. That may change this season but he’s been a situational blocking end. All that matters is how good these kids end up being. I like Redman a lot but he hasn’t done shit.StrongArmCobra said:

They NEVER throw him the ball because he's so fucking slow you idiot! Plus, he's not known for having soft hands either. Yeah he was a situational blocking kinda guy when we had Drew Sample you moron. But with Sample's departure, that bumps Kizer up the depth chart so now we have to rely on him more and he can't replace Sample because Sample was a complete TE who was criminally under used in the passing game.DawgFader said:

Redman is way more talented than Kizer. It doesn't fucking matter that he hasn't done anything at UW yet! He's still in high school you moron. We're talking about recruiting. That would pertain to development and Redman will be an easy one to develop because he's an elite talent.
Your brain appears half empty you stupid fucking DOOG! LEAVE! -
Drew Sample was pretty forgettable as a receiver, he averaged only 1.5 receptions per game across his career, but we know how that ended up. I don't see anything that indicates West can't at least be at this level in the passing game.StrongArmCobra said:

Sample was under used because Brownsocks was too much of a pussy to throw the ball over the middle. The coaches only wanted him throwing it mostly outside the hash marks. Sample had more burst and speed on film than this West kid in high school so why the fuck would anybody think he can be the next Drew Sample? That's fucking stupid. You are ignoring facts to fit your doog narrative.
Bryant is a capable blocker and he also plays a different position in the offense that requires less blocking and more receiving anyways. That a really dumb counter argument. -
It feels like you're trying to apply the BTE standard (quality receiver) to a pure WTE (quality blocker) recruit. Our WTE role is primarily a blocking role with passing upside.StrongArmCobra said:

No argument on the utilization factor for Sample, but the same argument applies to Kizer. Not saying he will end up being Sample, but he's nearly a Dissly-level blocker already.
I'm withholding judgement on West until I see senior film. He has barely played football and Biggins said he's taken a step forward this offseason (I know, that isn't much). If he sucks as a senior, I'm happy to eat crow.
Bryant can be a capable blocker, but he's below average in execution so far. His threat in the passing game more than makes up for this.
I disagree with your Culp bust projection. I think he's going to be damn good, but it will probably take another year or two. -
Devin Culp sucks?
Lol this is up their with your worst takes. JFC. -
He caught two balls last season. I watched both of them. Couldn't believe how slow he is. That's why they don't throw to him. Paopao has told the media Kizer needs to improve as a receiver. It's coming straight from the coaches. The one ball thrown his way during the Spring preview he drops after getting hit. There's a huge fucking difference between Kizer as a receiver and guys like Redman and Kole Taylor. It's night and day.chuck said:

I think the board is just so sick of me being right all the time that y'all now just want to disagree with everything I say. You agree that West is a sub par recruit but when you see me arguing that you want to disagree to go against Ballz. That's fine. This kid sucks until proven otherwise. TE recruiting is not good enough. One elite TE here and there mixed in with a bunch of JAGs is not good enough. You're all better off just accepting that I know more about football and football talent that any of you and respecting my opinion about the guys we're recruiting and getting than fucking arguing with me. I know who is good and who sucks. Most of you don't.

I shouldn't have to at this point. People should just recognize that I know more than them about football talent at this point. It's like fucking trumptards telling scientist that global warming is "just their opinion". It's like fucking trumptards telling scientist that global warming is "just their opinion". No, some people know more about a certain topic than you and their "opinion" is based on facts, research, reasoning, and experience and should be respected. I don't know shit about baseball talent or golf talent, but I know football talent. Respect it.GreenRiverGatorz said:

You agree that West is a sub par recruit but when you see me arguing that you want to disagree to go against Ballz. That's fine. This kid sucks until proven otherwise. TE recruiting is not good enough. One elite TE here and there mixed in with a bunch of JAGs is not good enough. You're all better off just accepting that I know more about football and football talent that any of you and respecting my opinion about the guys we're recruiting and getting than fucking arguing with me. I know who is good and who sucks. Most of you don't.
Edit: nevermind, I didnt look at that very closely. -
This thread should’ve been closed the second “Dev Culp sucks” is printed. That is by far SAC’s worst offense that I’ve seen on here.

It's bad, but... worst? Do we need a poll?LaMichael_Corleone said:This thread should’ve been closed the second “Dev Culp sucks” is printed. That is by far SAC’s worst offense that I’ve seen on here.

Where is this narrative even coming from? Ive heard the coaches are extremely pleased with his development from big WR to complete TE. I normally have zero intel, but Im pretty sure this is factual.LaMichael_Corleone said:This thread should’ve been closed the second “Dev Culp sucks” is printed. Why are you still trying to explain yourself to me?StrongArmCobra said:

I’m new. I don’t know shit. But god damn, even if any of our RS-FR players “suck” they have time to become good to great.1to392831weretaken said:

This is one of the worst pure football takes I’ve seen from Ballz.1to392831weretaken said:

Culp can't block. Paopao said he has a "long ways to go" when it comes to blocking, to put it nicely. He can't get on the field until he can block, therefore, he sucks right now. Heard the same thing about Michael Neal and he never played a significant down here. Great looking athlete though but just didn't have the "want to" to be a blocker. Time will tell. But as of this past Spring, Kizer and Culp are far from complete TE's.
