I said Hillary won't be the nominee quite some time ago. First!

Can't agree that Bernie can win it all though.

I was sure McGovern could beat Nixon. He did a couple states.

Obama 08 was a far more rational and better campaigner than Bern. He ran as a quasi moderate who would bring hope and change. Bernie is real angry white male candidate

You say Obama was a better campaigner but Bernies poll numbers keep rising and he's doing it while bein brushed off by the media. The Democratic Party itself has tried to bury him. Friday and Saturday night debates, give me a break. But he hasn't gone away.

You say he's angry. I say the country wants angry.

Endorsements are rolling in. Polling is up. Clinton is scared. It's going to be funny when the people that tore Hilary down realize what's standing behind her.

And here's the scary truth. Bernie Sanders already won a presidential election in a fucking landslide. It was 2008. America thought Obama was Sanders and he ran away with it. And even though you spent the last 8 years pretending Obama was that guy, he was really closer to the center. But we still want that guy, the most liberal socialist leftist president this country has ever seen, and we're gonna fucking get him.

Your argument is awesome, with just one major flaw - you think Obama got elected because of his policies. Obama got elected in a landslide because a) people were sick of Bush b) he had a fresh face (always about the blicks!) c) he oozed charisma d) he talked like a socialist.

Bernie only has one of those four things, and I'd argue it was the least significant of those factors for Obama.

The one thing I will say is that the right cried wolf (WOOF?) a bit by labeling Obama socialist and that has taken the sting out of the word for Bernie. But still, I might be scared of Bernie's politics, but I am not scared of Bernie getting elected. Not in the least.

The best possible thing for the GOP is for the Democrats to nominate an old white guy.
No I dont think Obama was elected for his policies.

I think that America thought Obama was Bernie Sanders. In a nicer package, certainly. And that really really helped. I don't think Sanders could have won in 2008 because of that package. But I think that package works now.

Race pointed out that Obama ran as a quasi moderate, you pointed out that he talked like socialist and that's my point. People thought Obama was an outsider socialist. Everyone thought it. That's why the right spent all this time calling him one. And I think you will be shocked at how many people actually want that. But you shouldn't be because they already voted for someone that they thought was that guy.

I know Bernie is rising. I called it. Hillary is a horrible campaigner and you and I agree the country wants angry. The question is which angry. Looks now like both parties are going angry. Both parties are trying to bury the front runner or fast riser. (everybody does it?)

I'm not sure the majority are all that enamored with the actual results of Obama's quasi socialist agenda but we'll find out. We (?) tend to lurch back and forth. It should be a turn back to the right this November. If not, then the country will continue in the direction it is going.

Too much frustration over too many of Obama's "transformative" policies. Obama fatigue will not beget Sanders.

When I hear people tells why they are voting for Bernie it is pretty much the exact same Robin Hood bullshit from the first Obama election.

The other thing is if the country is so angry isn't that anger at Obama or the results of his presidency?

Obama's approval rating is what, 4, 5? times the approval rating of Congress.
