I read today that the Mariners only have 18 games out of 75 (I think) against teams with a record over .500. They should make the playoffs.
They should also sell the farm to get Soto, but I realize that will be tough. Marte, Kelenic, Hancock, Ford, and Brash (only guy I hate giving up), whoever else. Trade them. You have Soto for potentially 3 pennant races and you can always trade him after next season to replenish the system. -
