@sonics1993 do you know how much money the AD is willing to spend on our new coach? I feel like we would need to pay above what Petersen was making to have any shot at a Matt Campbell or Dave Aranda. Even to land Big Game Bob.

The last year of Petersen’s contract I believe was at $5.6M
I suspect we need to be in the $6-7M range to land an elite coach plus a strong pool for assistants
If we get Aranda we are extremely lucky imo, has ties to the West Coast recruiting wise, Texas as well, and has dominated offenses throughout the majority of his career. He just held OU to 14 this past weekend.. and Lincoln’s going to LSU? Lol why would LSU hire the guy who lost to a guy who was their DC 2 years ago?

We would need to pay more and I'm still trying to figure out how much Washington can afford to pay. Don't have an answer for that unfortunately
