I've listened now to over an hour of the committee contempt hearing. The Republican strategy is simply to throw out red herrings about "not doing enough for opiod abuse" etc and an elaborate hairsplitting argument about whether or not this case is similar to precedent and the release of grand jury information (confidentally) to committee. This line of argumentation is weak and could only convince somebody already convinced. It's well within precedent for Barr to request the release of grand jury information in a confidential manner -- it's been done in similar circumstances in the past. So, they will soon vote correctly for contempt
Sounds like you need to write your Congressman again and demand impeachment.
