Washington hasn't offered Simon yet but he's been in steady communication with the Huskies.
"I talked to Coach (Bob) Gregory and I just talked to him last week, and he said they're so far in the process with offering me, that they just need one more thing to look at. I'll be at the Rise Showcase at PLU (on June 15), and he said they want to see me tackle guys in space. That's all that's left and we’ll see what happens then."
Bump.
Guess the whole tackling in space thing didn’t go well.
Some nice pics of other Lincoln guys with coaches... hopefully he wasn’t cussing out the coaches with Smalls.
Don’t twist.
Eklund's analysis of him was essentially the same as what this bored was saying - he's fine, but way overrated.
Might end up being this year's Dublanko
This year's Justus Legg?
Not to that level, but he’s overrated and it should have been seen the whole time.
"They actually offered me before camp," Simon told Dawgman.com a day after receiving the offer. "It was about 1:30 and me and my parents had a meeting with coach (Chris) Petersen and after we talked for a little while, he offered.
"A big thing for them was seeing me tackle in space. That was something they had talked to me about and last weekend, at the PLU (11v11) camp, they saw me tackle in space and they said that I did really well."
With his offer from the Dawgs now in hand, where do things stand on the recruiting front?
"I'm not ranking any schools right now or offers right now," Simon noted. "It's still really early for me. I'm just keeping an open mind toward all of the schools that want to offer me. I have 18 months until I can sign with a school, so I have a lot of time."
"I'd like to get out to see Tennessee or possibly Florida State," Simon noted. "Those are schools I'm interested in seeing and getting a good feel for what they have to offer."
Washington is recruiting Simon as a linebacker, but most schools have told him they see him playing on either side of the ball, not wanting to pigeon hole themselves into a spot.
"Most schools don't even label it," Simon said. "They just want me to get there and then they'll figure it out."

I’m confident saying that myself and likely swaye will eventually burn... in hell.
Its adapt and evolve or fall behind.
Pete is adapting.

Anybody know what Roof says I told her?
