I don't know why everyone assumes Zion is an inside guy. Is it because Dennis said it? Just going by numbers alone, it would make more sense to keep him at Buck. Even if he puts on weight, let's not forget that Benning wplayed buck at 280. It's bigger than ideal, but we gotta keep somebody there. I could see him playing Buck eventually in around 270. I don't think he'll move inside, personally. He could, but he doesn't need to, and it just doesn't make sense numbers-wise, especially since we can't manage to bring in any other Bucks...
I'll have a pretty good idea if Zion should be written off or not after his first two seasons with the program so stay tuned for that.

Marking it in my calendar. Actually, fuck that, I'm writing it on my wall in permanent marker. I'm on pins and needles already.
Brain vomit here, but I think that there are likely 2 more spots in this class for DLs. With Bandes, Ika, and Tuitele still all very realistic options, I wonder if the coaches told Stephon Wright to wait. It seemed like he was ready to commit a month or two ago, but nothing happened. I can't see us taking 5 interior guys in a class, even if a couple of these guys could play SDE/"outside guy" on occasion like Qualls and Vea did. That would give us 10 interior guys (I'm assuming Zion grows into an interior guy) in 2 classes which would be really strange from a numbers perspective.

Been saying this too. Don’t think he needs to play inside and is currently listed as Linebacker on the depth chart. Seems like a BUCK to me..
In light of recent events, I figure this place could use some good news:
- Confirmed he'll take his Official on December 15th and it will be the only Official he takes - He's excited to be taking the visit with his good friend Fa'atui Tuitele as well as Apu Ika (recruiting them to join him) - Has decided he will be playing defensive line and doesn't plan on entertaining offensive line anymore
How is the health of his aunt/uncles and is his brother employed? Asking for a friend
And how are the taro crops? Is there enough poi to go around? But seriously, UW should do a yearly luau on the island for recruits and their families and former players etc. just to make sure they are all well fed...
