I know John Elway he's a family fren! Also, played touch football with Ndomkung Suh at a resort in AZ while he was suspended for stomping on a player. I was playing QB so i knew i was fucked. Nonetheless, the gayme got heated when he pushed me into a water feature.
I grew up with Darren Morningstar. He was consensus Wa state hoops player of the year in 1987. Had his pick of schools bit strangely chose the Naval Academy because he was a David Robinson fan. Didn't hear about him for a while, then caught a glimpse of him sitting on the bench for Pitt a couple years later. He was huge now, 6'11" and pretty overweight and clumsy which was a shame. As a 6'7" senior in HS he was skilled and coordinated enough to play the point but that was long gone. Ended up getting drafted at end of round one by Boston, then cut in the preseason iirc.
That's it...unless you count Aandy and Fleenor. I've gotten pms on dm.c from both of them which was a real highlight of my time there.

I played in a couple pick up games at the West Seattle YMCA with Doug Christy.
I was at Al Bianchi's Supersonic basketball camp when Elgin Baylor pulled up in an El Dorado with no one else around so I gave him a tour until one of the camp guys told me to fuck off.
Told Howard Lincoln, Mariner owner, to pay his fucking bill at Nintendo world headquarters.
I officiated a wedding for a Buffalo Bills RB, we'll call him Fred Jackson. One of my fren's dads is a huge Bills fan so he got on some Bills message bored and told them "my daughter's friend @dnc married Fred Jackson". For a few days said Bills message bored thought "Fred Jackson" was married to a man named @dnc.

I played "Senior League" beisbol with large human and glorious ginger, future MLB reliever Todd Coffey. Last game of the year both of our catchers were out of town so he pitched to our third string catcher...and our fourth string catcher...and our sixth string catcher. Busted fingers on all of them.
Our fifth string catcher was some pussy from Seattle who opted not to catch.

Oh yeah? Ask him if he's learned how to dock a boat yet. I saw Elway try to dock a boat at the Anacortes fuel dock back in the 90's... he had absolutely no fucking clue what he was doing.
I grew up with Gary Anderson. Same elementary, jr high and high schools. Same little league football and baseball, played on the same high school football team. He was two grades ahead of me and two grades behind my brother. We didn't hang out but we've know of each other growing up.
Justin Morneau (also a decent ball player) Larry Walker. Good old ridge boy. Trevor Linden. Know his wife ...
Had the opportunity to steal Pavel Bure's nameplate from the locker room ... But didnt. Lol
Went to the San Jose Infiniti dealership in 2009 to test drive the G37 or M35, or whatever (didn't like the Infinitis at all) and the dealer showed us a pre-owned M45 and namedropped that it had been driven by Jeremy Roenick. It seemed to me to be a silly selling poont, so when he said it I responded "JEREMY ROENICK?? REALLY?!?" and immediately threw open the driver's door and sniffed the seat.

I've met far more movers and shakers than celebs.
