Mike babcock,
For the non hockey guys here he coached the Spokane Chiefs, Won a Stanley Cup coaching the Red Wings and Olympic Gold coaching the Canadien team. Dude is a stud and a riot. Fook is basically every second word out of his mouth.

My tie in: Took him turkey hunting. For my wine..err archery guys he shot a Darton at the time same as I did. Darton the only bow that costs like a Martin but shoots like a Bowtech.

"Sweet" Lou Hudson (6 x NBA All Star, Atlanta Hawks) helped coach my high school basketball team from time to time.

My family knew Ed White (4 x Pro Bowler, Vikings, Chargers) pretty well when I was a little kid; my Dad was a small time sponsor of the Chargers in the 1980's. I can remember sitting at a training table once at UCSD during pre-season with Don Corryell, Dan Fouts, and Kellen Winslow. Had no idea as a little kid that Don was a Dawg and Fouts was a dirty duck.

So was Ed a Pro bowler before thy started doing all that shitty pre contest hype up the crowd bullshit? Nothing funnier than fat out of shape white dudes fist pumping the crowd then spinning a 16lb ball down the ole lane.

I once helped set up a basketball court for Michael Jordan. Borrowed the court and baskets from the Long Beach Arena, brought it all back to the Warner backlot. We put together the floor and then set the baskets, and it was my job to crank the baskets up into their proper position. MJ walks in, takes a look at both baskets. Points to the near one, says "That's good." Points to the far one, maybe 80 feet away, says "That's low, by a half inch." We got a tape measure and a storypole to check the height, and he was right on. Turns out I didn't crank it all the way. In my defense, (NT)

    you're texan?

My dad knew an ex-Husky who made the pros in the 60s and early 70s IIRC. I'm not dropping names for several reasons, but he's past retirement age. I really don't know him though.

I was at Al Bianchi's Supersonic basketball camp when Elgin Baylor pulled up in an El Dorado with no one else around so I gave him a tour until one of the camp guys told me to fuck off.

Told Howard Lincoln, Mariner owner, to pay his fucking bill at Nintendo world headquarters.

I've met far more movers and shakers than celebs.
