Who of the other 11 starting qb in the conference would you take over Kessler for 2015?
Goff.
And... -
TommyHill I gave you an assignment to support your stance that senior and RS Jr QB's returnting is a meaningless stat? Can you once defend yourself on the topic at hand instead of just burping up semen and posting a torch? i know walking is difficult with a sore bum, so crawl to your faggy little pink I phone and post something, anything meaningful.ThomasFremont said:
Next you're gonna tell us that USC is better than their record indicates, Sark is the best playcaller in America, Kessler gives 110%, just wait until Sark gets his guys in there, etc.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Fremont, 75-80% of the national titles are won by upperclassmen QBs. (Now thats an educated estimate Tommy), so dont spend 2 days of research and spring 74% on the bored with your silly little torch vid. Watch more than 2 years of college football and check back. OK twinkle toes?
Doogman is calling you. -
Hogan is ready for a break out year. I don't think it was a coincidence his OL figured it out the same time he started to really click at the end of the season.
Goff is an NFL talent and I wish like hell we had him. I'd take him over Kessler.
Kessler is a better Keith Price. He needs to play great against a good team to break the comparison. Only game KP played outside his mind was against Stanford. That game still hurts. -
I wanted Sark canned right about the time he left. He had a ton of returning starters and a senior QB going into year 5. I wanted him immediately fired after he couldnt beat Oregon at home, and win the north in year 5. Fortunately he quit as he still might be here.PurpleJ said:People forget that PLSS was in full support of Sark through year 5.
I believe a head coach deserves 5 years, as most with a clue agree. Just as Peter should get 5 years. -

Blitz, Kessler is arguably the best returning QB in the COUNTRY.oregonblitzkrieg said:Kessler isn't anything special...He's only margi. Football does exist beyong Eugelly better than most PAC 12 teams' second string QBs.
He's not even the best returning QB in California... -
Real half brains wanted him gone after year three, hth.puppylove_sugarsteel said:

I wanted him gone year 4, but I'm not a half brain and never claimed to be. What kind of person would pretend to be something they're not?

Just for shits and giggles ... last 10 National Championship QBs:puppylove_sugarsteel said:Fremont, 75-80% of the national titles are won by upperclassmen QBs. 2014: Ohio State (JT Barrett - Frosh, Cardale Jones - Soph)
2013: Florida State (Jameis Winston - Frosh)
2012: Alabama (AJ McCarron - Junior)
2011: Alabama (AJ McCarron - Sophomore)
2010: Auburn (Cam Newton - Junior)
2009: Alabama (Greg McElroy - Junior)
2008: Florida (Tim Tebow - Junior)
2007: LSU (Matt Flynn - Senior)
2006: Florida (Chris Leak - Senior)
2005: Texas (Vince Young - Junior)
Now, PL_SS is going to look at that list and puff his chest.
But what's interesting to this list to me is the number of QBs that won with little experience going into the season. Each of the last 2 years that was the case. When McCarron won in 2011 he took over for McElroy. Newton's title came in his first year as a starter. Flynn was a backup to Randle and Russell before starting as a senior.
What I think you can conclude from the list is that the extra maturity that comes with being in your 3rd to 5th year within the program is a helpful trait in winning a national championship, the experience that comes with it of having had 25+ starts going into the season isn't necessarily a predictor of success. If anything, what this list proves is that QBs in college football can be as dependent upon the system and players around them as their own special and unique talents.
Now, before people go twisting, Cyler Miles still sucks as a QB and Jonathan Smith has a "prove it" to me bullseye on himself going
Seniors and redshirt jr. QB's win more conference titles and National titles, . Just as senior laden Oline and D-lines win the same. Not surprised your dumbass doesnt know this Teqilla. Go back 25 years, 50 years and check. Obviously now more QB's head to the draft as juniors. Cam was a RS jr as he went to as his eligibility started in 2007 at florida . Left blinn in '09 to Auburn in '10-'11 making him the eqivilent of senior, RS-jr in class, which supports my claim.
Teqilla, no wonder Kim ran you off, you just spew diarrhea out your lips we ith no interest in higher discussion. Bout time I send you to the HHB grave with Cockus, Damoan and Fremont.
