Final results>>>>>>>>>>>basic bitch level cliche media generalizations with no actual depth to them.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Uh, freemont, A senior qb or 4th year jr (4 years in the program or senior in class) has most always determined the pac12 champ. Not always but just about every fucking year you gadammed imbicile. Go back 20 years and do the math.
A senior qb has always been one of the leading factors going into a team's pre-season prognostications. A redshirt junior is the same as a true senior. Stanford and USC both fave seniors...what do you know buttsniffer, they are the favorites. Winston andJones were RS sophomores, but neither were mentioned in pre-season analysis
Not surprised you buy into that level of analysis though. Retards gonna retard.
For someone who talks so much about wanting REAL football talk, you continue to prove you belong on the Doogman short bus. -
Kessler is really good at throwing the WR screen and slants when his WRs beat DBs by 5 yards.
He's losing most of his talented WRs ...
We know WR screens don't work great against good teams.
Kessler's stats in SC losses last year:
@ BC: 31 of 41 for 317 and 4 TDs (7.7 YPA)
vs ASU: 28 of 45 for 273 and 0 TDs (6.1 YPA)
@ Utah: 24 of 32 for 264 and 1 TD (8.3 YPA)
@ UCLA: 22 of 34 for 214 and 1 TD (6.3 YPA)
Two things stand out here. First, 3 road losses ... standard Seven. Second, the yards per attempt aren't really that great. He averaged 8.5 yards per attempt last year. In each of their losses, he was up to 2.4 yards per attempt less per game.
One of the big criticisms of Seven is that his teams put up huge numbers against overmatched teams ... the numbers above suggest that that is the case. -
Fremont, 75-80% of the national titles are won by upperclassmen QBs. (Now thats an educated estimate Tommy), so dont spend 2 days of research and spring 74% on the bored with your silly little torch vid. Watch more than 2 years of college football and check back. OK twinkle toes?

Blitz, Kessler is arguably the best returning QB in the COUNTRY.oregonblitzkrieg said:Kessler isn't anything special...He's only margi. Football does exist beyong Eugelly better than most PAC 12 teams' second string QBs.

Hogan, kessler sucks? Brilliant. Care to state why?AZDuck said:Hogan sucks
Kessler sarks
conference is wide open -
Next you're gonna tell us that USC is better than their record indicates, Sark is the best playcaller in America, Kessler gives 110%, just wait until Sark gets his guys in there, etc.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Fremont, 75-80% of the national titles are won by upperclassmen QBs. Doogman is calling you. -
Cyler Miles will be a RS JR next year.
I think we can give USC a game in the conference championship.
Great logic, pup. -
As a junior, Hogan didn't exactly set the world on fire:
5th or 6th in the Pac-12 in QB rating his junior year. Don't see him jumping to the head of the class next year.
Kessler could be great, but Sark's gonna Sark.
That's why I said "Kessler sarks."
Not a typo, but you're not smart so I guess I just had to spell it out for ya -
Just for shits and giggles ... last 10 National Championship QBs:puppylove_sugarsteel said:Fremont, 75-80% of the national titles are won by upperclassmen QBs. 2014: Ohio State (JT Barrett - Frosh, Cardale Jones - Soph)
2013: Florida State (Jameis Winston - Frosh)
2012: Alabama (AJ McCarron - Junior)
2011: Alabama (AJ McCarron - Sophomore)
2010: Auburn (Cam Newton - Junior)
2009: Alabama (Greg McElroy - Junior)
2008: Florida (Tim Tebow - Junior)
2007: LSU (Matt Flynn - Senior)
2006: Florida (Chris Leak - Senior)
2005: Texas (Vince Young - Junior)
Now, PL_SS is going to look at that list and puff his chest.
But what's interesting to this list to me is the number of QBs that won with little experience going into the season. Each of the last 2 years that was the case. When McCarron won in 2011 he took over for McElroy. Newton's title came in his first year as a starter. Flynn was a backup to Randle and Russell before starting as a senior.
What I think you can conclude from the list is that the extra maturity that comes with being in your 3rd to 5th year within the program is a helpful trait in winning a national championship, the experience that comes with it of having had 25+ starts going into the season isn't necessarily a predictor of success. If anything, what this list proves is that QBs in college football can be as dependent upon the system and players around them as their own special and unique talents.
Now, before people go twisting, Cyler Miles still sucks as a QB and Jonathan Smith has a "prove it" to me bullseye on himself going forward. -
People forget that PLSS was in full support of Sark through year 5.
