Yes that was brought up to me recently by a wealthy cuog. I'm not sure why it's significant in a any way that ~20% of a 50k campus is Asian. Their work ethic from 2007-2010 didn't strike me as any different than anyone else, at least for CS. -

A good portion of them can barely speak English. I'm sure they're good students and all and semi-learned a second language which isn't easy to do, but the international kids get in because they pay higher tuition rates. If that means I'm bitter, then fine, I'm bitter. It was the same at UW Bothell except the international Asian kids there were the real fuck ups their dragon parents are ashamed of. They thought they had swag and wore Air Jordans and their hats on backwards and shit lol. When we peer reviewed each others papers, I couldn't believe some of them were even in college. Blew my mind that dumb Asians actually exist and yet they still drove BMW's, Mercedes, and Audi's. Don't think they were all that motivated.haie said:
