Guys it's not the actual city that mattes - IE going to Texas A&M. You think Aggie grads stay in college station after they graduate? No, they go to Dallas, Houston, Austin, etc... for jobs. And I have family in Texas, fucking A&M grads everywhere you go, in every huge company. It's not about what city your school is in to get "business connections" after college.

Fair point, but I think we're talking about more than business connections. We're talking about notoriety and infamy.
Maybe Smalls is interested in Pullman’s “lush natural surroundings.”
Seattle can’t compete with that.
When a majority of the residents' lives revolve around drinking at 10 am after kicking out the sorostitute in your bed from the night prior, I'd say the quality of life is pretty high.

A Big 12 writer was saying that Texas Tech has one of the largest alumni bases in Texas. If you’re a Texas kid and want to stay in Texas, it’s a good deal.
Like you mentioned, UT & aTm have larger nationwide networks plus the Texas in-state connects
