Obviously, this stinks. There's no sugar-coating the situation. Kienholz is a talented prospect, a good leader and Washington spent a lot of time evaluating him, building a relationship with him and they lost him to a 'Blue Blood' program who barely even knew he existed until midway through the season. This should be a wake up call for Husky fans to understand where UW ranks, at least currently, in the hierarchy of college football. They've always been a step away from 'Blue Blood' status, even at the peak of the program in the early 1990s, but some of the expectations from Husky Nation is a bit unrealistic at times. This should bring it back to reality

Not even doogs think UW is at OSUs historical level. Fun story though
tOSU is actually having major NIL issues right now, Zach Smith has been talking about it a ton on his podcast and the AD actually had a press conference about it..
Anyways - one of their first round draft pick WRs made only 7k last year - CJ is supposedly only going to make 350k, not the overinflated numbers you see. Their entire collective is just under 4 million dollars - it’s tiny; if they gave him 700k, they used be using about a quarter of their budget on a kid who will never step foot on the field while they can’t get a 5 star defensive player…. Fat chance Vorel.

That would be hilarious if Day fucking around with Keinholz led to this.
