I scroll this far, and no one has yet suggested PGOS?

If we go former BYU I'd go Bronco Mendenhall at UVA. If Jimmy isn't fired, he should look at the offensive staff there. Robert Anae, Jason Beck. Former WVU QB coach, Michigan, AZ and Illini Offensive Coordinator Rod Smith is on their staff as well as an anal-yst.

UVA offense is #1 in country in yards / game.

Doug Pederson. Local guy. Could be Carrol 2.0.

Innovative in the run game. Probably can’t recruit though

I only list him, since no one else has.

Can he do more with less?

    AT EL-UH-VAY-SHUN Fudgie.

Yeah their defense sucks, Sitake isn't the answer. He's not leaving BYU now that they are B12.

Sounds good on paper, but I hate it. I don’t think he’s a very good coach despite the Super Bowl.

Like you said, I doubt he would put the necessary effort in recruiting.

A name that hasn't been mentioned, but Sean Lewis at KENT STATE has done a very good job at a school that, resources-wise, is near the bottom of its league and funds the athletic department with three body bag games a year.

From the Chicago area and played at Wisconsin and his coaching background is on offense

You'd be a hard pressed to find a more small-time hire than that. WSU might not even bother with this guy.

Matt Campbell has built Iowa State and would be a great hire.

Dave Aranda is from California and Baylor is paying him $4 million so it would take at least $6 to get him back to the West Coast.

With cost of living it might be 7-8M to get him out of Waco.

Don’t think he would leave Baylor unless it is for a blue blood at the moment. Baylor can always find more money too.
