Miss of the Roanoke was acknowledged on Page 1 by me. Try to keep up, G.

Great place. Been there infinity of times.
Nothing cooler than hanging out on Mercer Island amongst a crowd of yuppy Microsoft employees.
I’ve never consumed a beer on Mercer Island, ever.
Like how Woody Hayes refused to ever buy gas in Michigan

MI chicks loved it when they could show off the long haired hippie freak from Rainier Beach. Almost as good as when I mingled with the crowd from the Seattle Tennis club, I think they only used me for my drug connections. MI and STC - did get to go to a party at Broadmoor after someone vouched for me at the gate.

One must look the part to into that place

My first time at Roanoke (MI) with the wife was on Kentucky Derby day, by chance. We went back about 10 years in a row to watch it there, until moving.

Back before the "Camp Bar" appeared in Tacoma, there was a bar in the same place called Acme Tavern and it also said "Acme Grub Cage". That place was divey. Favorite Dive Bar in tacoma, currently, is a neighborhood tavern called Terry's Office Tavern. Best fries in Tacoma.

This place on Sprague in Tacoma seems to fit dive bar status as well, but I have not gone yet. https://www.yelp.com/biz/home-plate-tavern-tacoma

Rosellis on 6th (RIP) Where the screwdrivers are clear, "Honey, we don't do doubles here"
The Goldfish (RIP) just before Point Defiance entrance
Harbor Lights, or Harbor (on your) Lips: pre-Anthony's take over
    Hank's
The Cloverleaf - no kiddie parties (not anymore) just cold beer and damn good pizza
Bluebird (RIP) on the hill. Crack, crank, or where the white boys for a $5 spot and a familiar face could score a half-rack with out fear of lurking narcs
