Deaths got back up to the highest in a month yesterday and the Vid is making a strong start to today.

We are a "democratic republic" and a gigantic one at that. If we were a communist nation, we could have one singular, disciplined response. That was never going to happen here. You can blame "Daddy" but the democratic governors never took Daddy's help - they just bitched and complained and tried to score political points. The federal government response actually had some very bright points. I work with a lot of colleagues in Europe. You know what they are complaining about? The US Gov buying out the world's supply of drugs to treat COVID-19. Who likely did that? Daddy... Look at the hand he was dealt, if you look beyond the sound bytes, you'll see that the federal government has done tons.

My wife’s parents, our sister-in-law, and niece all tested positive after a NYC trip in mid -March to visit said niece. A cold for the younger two and a bad flu but survived without hospitalization for the 75+ parents.
