a paper published in The Lancet last month confirmed what astute observers have suspected for the past 6 months: lockdowns had NO effect on reducing the COVID19 death rate: https://thelancet.com/journals/eclinm/article/PIIS2589-5370(20)30208-X/fulltext… Lockdowns only hurt economically & psychologically tens of millions of people!

Seems Sweden swallowed a hard pill and that has resulted in a form of herd immunity. They look pretty good these days. Nobody around the world really likes to talk about them anymore. When everyone was locked down they were an easy Mark for lockdown supporters. Now? Not so much.

I read something over the weekend that Northern Italy is doing fine and it’s Southern Italy now getting hit basically with its first real wave. The herd theory is not dead, it’s actually more right than ever.
Cuomo really fucked everyone. Obviously his own people that he physically moved to die and create more death, but he really fucked us in giving bad assumption death rate data to the modelers.
Nov 5th is the date that he’s promised to hand over the Nursing home death camp data, very convenient.
We all knew cases didn’t matter, this is partly why. US test is roughly 10-1000 times more sensitive than Europe’s. CDC admits that it’s basically not possible to detect living viruses over 33 CT’s. Test goes up to 40 ct sensitivity. Early rounds of tests back in March weren’t that sensitive. Now we are comparing data from early tests to these latest ones and attempting to draw comparisons and trends.

It’s either lazy, stupid or evil to do this.
There’s a lot wrong with all this. The biggest, imo, is locking down people for 14 days and all the other associated bullshit after a positive, when at least half at not contagious.

I'll pick all of the above.
