Slug Tavern is a bit much but it's better than social media and turning on the radio and hearing "quarantine six pack," "new normal," or turning on Faux News and seeing death tolls. Then I have to reassure my work friend who hasn't left her condo in 11 days. I don't really know what my point is, but the media is full of losers who push the fear mongering and the Tug is full of middle aged white guys who just yell a lot so I don't take it seriously and it's kind of a nice escape.

Nobody has to go to the tug. It’s pretty easy to stick to football and bs if that’s what you want to do.
I told him to just take a break and come back when football returns. But he said the MAGA stuff had gotten to him and that he needed to end all association with the site.
