This is a compelling enough bored that investing actual ego in it is prone to happen. I've been around the Huskie dark web for over ten years, but only recently have I gained the maturity/nihilism/Dada necessary to stop lurking and have the confidence I won't spin the fuck out on here, and the danger of taking things personally is always a few posts away, because I'm a miserable and pathetic Dwag. Why you'd ever want to mix your Doog and your politics, I can't fathom, but our Ur-poaster @RaceBannon shows how it's done. If I wasn't vaguely aware he's a retired carpet installer who fled a smoggy apartment on 196th in Lynnwood for an over-50 mobile home park in Riverside, I'd only be making a guess at his politics without venturing into the Tug, he's compartmentalized those personas that neatly. I guess except for when HondoFS ventures onto the football boards, then it seems like all bets are off. -
This is getting out of hand. Sven. APAG. CirhossisFag. Meek. The BDTW gang. I think a couple others. This place (and Tug) used to be about a 50/50 split of left and right, but all the lefties have rage quit in a huff. There are about 5 left in there. And even though they are loveable idiots, I have respect for them because they actually have hair on their balls. Imagine quitting an internet message board because people are mean to you about politics. Imagine doing that when there are like 8 other boreds on the site you could go to and never even see any of it if you are a Nancy who is easily rattled. Just imagine that.
I loved Meek. Wish he didn't leave, but we have had WAY too many people taking this WAY too seriously. I mean, these are longtime posters who have been around over a decade, and are supposed to understand and embrace Thunderdome. Very disappointing. TDS appears to be real. That said, there's a contingent of Tug posters who are never involved in the football boards here and just repost nonsense memes from Sean Hannity's Facebook page. They add no value.
