Difference is the standard flu gets a new vaccine every year so all of your numbers could essentially go to zero if everybody was vaccinated. There is nothing for this corona thing, yet. 1 in 50 chance you die, slightly worse than rolling snake eyes.
How many deaths have there been in the US due to corona virus?
There's been more deaths due to typhus (RIP, CD) than the corona virus in the US.
AAAARRGH MEAN ORANGE MAN!!!!!!
Deaths: 107,846
Gosh why aren't you denouncing the "protesters" Dazzler? Aren't they putting all of our lives at risk? Or is it only white people in the Ozarks in a swimming pool that trigger you?

You obviously have no idea how the flu vaccine works. They basically make an educated guess each year what the vaccine needed for a specific strain. The vaccine this year was horrible. So no, the vaccine doesn’t necessarily protect you. Why don’t think they tell you to get it annually, instead of a single dose?

Yep some years are better than others but the vaccine takes so long to produce and Influenza has such an unstable structure and morphs so frequently that it will always be a guessing game. They make their expectations for which variation of the virus is likely to hit something like 6 months ahead of flu season so they can begin to grow the vaccine inside of chicken eggs. They do a really good job of guessing but it's the definition of an inexact science.
This is really long but a fascinating read by one of our generations greatest writers. It's from 1997 so some aspects are outdated (they have isolated the Spanish Flu variation now, presumably because of the research he's documenting). But it will tell you a lot if you're interested in understanding the flu and our response to it. Also just the history of the 1918 outbreak.

When are you going to post your prediction for the 2000 Rose Bowl game?

"At this point in the season, CDC estimates indicate that there have been 13 million influenza illnesses, 120,000 hospitalizations, and 6600 flu-related deaths."

What’s your point. Covid still not the leader in the club house. And it’s not even close. It won’t be.
It’s a huge joke. You called it!
I didn’t call it that. Liar.
His job is to lie and extract money from others. Calling him a liar is a compliment to him. He did admit in one of his drunker moments on The Shed that he will lie to advance causes in which he believes. Others here will remember it.

He's a lawyer and his fingers are moving (or lips) I think they teach it in school.
Not all lawyers are bad. I have retained counsel to navigate tax and IP law....those are the lawyers you want to be interacting with...not shitty DUI Away lawyers like HH.

I sincerely hope this helps.
Any video yet on those stacks of dead bodies?
Someone caught a cold? Stop the world!
I might be laughing at you though. Probably am.
