I’ve never seen someone with @haie ‘s level of message board needle dick syndrome. I mean the shit this guy brags about is fucking pathetic.
It’s great that he admitted he lived in battle ground, WA about a year ago on here…got shit on mercilessly for being a poor who could only afford a house in the exurbs…and now uses it as an insult to make fun of others thinking people would forget
None of this is coherent bud. I've never lived in Battleground nor any other Clark county city since graduating from UW.
Lived in Pearl and near Rose Garden in Portland before having kids and then moved out of all of that bullshit.
@46XiJCAB who still can't figure out how to upload a jpg is a poor just like the rest of you.

Have fun until Phil sells the couch. Congrats.
So you live on the outskirts of BG in Lewis County. You’ve never lived in the Pearl. Clock slave.
Uhhh, no. A bad year at Cal and he’s probably fired. He could have gotten a new guaranteed contract at Oregon and would have been tough to fire without disaster because he’s an alum.
Wilcox is not getting fired. He just signed a six year extension at an average of $4.75 mil per with retention bonuses, not including incentives. Got a 20% increase in the assistant salary pool.
Cal was stoked to keep him. I’m in the minority of Oregon fans who wanted him hired.
Why did you want him hired? Just curious.
I think Wilcox is an excellent coach who would be able to succeed at Oregon. The dream job = not stepping stone wasn’t a significant factor, him being an alumnus was more of a bonus.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m equally satisfied with Lanning who is more exciting and has a high recruiting ceiling. Wilcox is a more proven commodity with HC experience, and before people say 7-5 is the commodity - don’t forget how many times he’s out coached the superior talent Cristobal or Petersen has. Give him Oregon’s roster and I think he could have a 9 win floor and a CFP loss ceiling. He wouldn’t recruit like is expected nowadays, but contrary to what some think I believe in wins over star ratings.
Nate Costa was just interviewed by Clownzano last week, and when asked who the best coach in the conference is he had no hesitation on Wilcox. It’s a very unexciting prospect, hence the fan rebellion, but it’s not a rare opinion.

Wilcox is the PAC 12 master of barely losing to, or beating, teams above his weight class. But he kind of sucks otherwise, so dunno what that makes him at SC or Oregon.
There would be a minority that would be stoked at both UW and Oregon.
My impression of him in person last year was that he mostly sucks.

I think Hardcore Husky needs a new Godwin's Law. Instead of Hitler, this new version should read, "At Hardcore Husky, any thread of significant length will eventually develop fullblown AIDS."
I was just listening to Wilner on Friday saying that Cal and Stanford might not even be around (as P5 programs) in 10 years because they have no desire to participate in the NIL stuff.

Cal I can believe. Unless those businesses or donors are willing to give matching money to the Pubic Hair Fund, the TranxWomynLatinx Society, and sponsor a publishing run of a book of verse poetry by first generation indigenous Bolivian immigrants then I don’t see them making NIL a priority. Even so, Cal only pays Wilcox $250k of that $4.75 mil - the rest is privately funded.
I call bullshit on Stanford. There’s enough money and desire from some people to keep them competing at a high level. Their coaching positions are endowed. When the pandemic made it so they couldn’t practice in their county they just rented facilities a few hours away. Could have even gone to Nevada, I don’t remember details but the point is they care. They have little in the way of fans, but it’s a quality over quantity situation.

I’m not his staunchest defender so I won’t give too much effort explaining it, but here’s the basics:
* Opinion, not fact: Pre-pandemic when they stopped his ability to practice or even have access to players Wilcox had Cal poised for a breakthrough.
* Fact: Post Pappy Waldorf there had been two coaches with “success” at Cal, Bruce Snyder and Tedford. Wilcox’s floor is already higher than Snyder’s was. Tedford is obviously a great coach but he also cut corners to where Cal was fucked academically. He used more special exemption admits than anyone else, not even close. Even WITH Tedford’s record here is a list of post WWII Pac schools with a worse record than Cal: Cuog, Beav.
* The last three Oregon-Cal games he out coached Cristobal’s staff. Before anyone starts with ‘but it’s Cristobal’: A. Remember those meaty steroid tits own a couch in Coral Gables so you can stop shitting on him and admit he had a decent enough system. B. Keep in mind the talent disparity. As Costa said there is no way Oregon should come close to losing. C. His team absolutely was better prepared, play called, and coached for the most part. If it wasn’t for Kayvon Thibodeaux in 2019 and his second half return from suspension in 2021 then Cal is 3-0 in those. D. He did the same to Petermanson in 18 and 19. He’s done the same to Shaw.
Anyway, Wilcox is a good coach for Cal and at either Washington or Oregon he’s a great coach. I was a little scared that Washington would hire him, to be honest. There is a solid history of hiring a P-5 coach who is overachieving at a historically mediocre P-5 program. Saban to LSU, Tubs to Auburn, Mack Brown to Texas, Spurrier to Florida, Franklin to Pedo, Les Miles to LSU, even Dennis Erickson and Mike Leach - those are just some that came to mind.

Duck nation. Barely litterate.
It was special...until you admitted you were an Oregon grad. Now it's this. Predictable as fuck.

Btw, not even an entry level dude "clocks in and out"
You are so turned around at this point and I'm here for it.

🤣
Please don’t stop, @haie
I’m close to finishing over here…
