The author is a nutjob, and he doesn't realize what he is describing which is a bunch of "scientists" that are so convinced they are right that they are mentally ill.

You think these people can do honest scientific work when they are that emotionally engaged in the subject? You think these people would "adjust" historical data (as they have) to fit their narrative, and throw out any data that would contradict it, and see whatever measurement as proof of "Global Warming"?

This phenomenon is not new...it is how you got the 'world is ending due to global cooling' in the 70s, and then the every 12 year decree starting in the 80s that the world is ending in 10 years. The science under it blows, but it doesn't matter to these folk because they are so emotionally invested in the outcome. Funny too that the Australians were pushing the "emotional management strategies"...they are as bad as the NASA morons in changing historical temperature data to fit their story:

Anyone claiming there was some sustained concern that the earth was getting too cold in the 1970s is just lying or off his rocker. This shrill denial of science over what basically amounts to one magazine cover, circa 1972, is sort of pathetic.

It's reasonable to argue about what we do or even whether we do anything about climate change. Denying it's happening requires a conspiratard stupidity.

"Climate Change" is a scam. Just about every country on Earth engages in weather modification. LOOK IT UP IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT. Look into China and the UAE, at least they admit it, the USA doesn't and won't, because the government would be removed if the people knew what they do. It's possible, even likely the government attempts to control hurricane formation and tracking. The use of cloud seeding to increase rainfall (flooding) is well documented.

Bullshit. They had us writing letters to pen pals in Colombia because that is where we were all going to be moving in 15 years to be close to the equator. This was 1970-74 (this is grade school for me) and we were all going to starve to death before we all froze to death. We had one hour a day dedicated to global freezing and discussions about how we would survive. The 45 degree angled electric cars were the future and there were 2 different dealerships in Beaverton OR throughout the 70's. Any adult who suggested that there was no deep freeze headed our way were shouted down by the brilliant liberal elites.

I don't know where you were living but where I was it was complete indoctrination and it was dumbass liberals who shoved that bullshit down everyone's throat.

It's all about causing climate disasters and using that as an excuse to increase taxes, forcibly seize homes, and cashing in on insurance policies.

The flooding in the Midwest that DC is responsible for and has been ignoring has finally come home to roost. Dumping the rain right where it belongs. Winds in excess of 70 mph are becoming the norm as well. Hail the size of golf balls or larger will be a more common occurrence going forward for the beltway.

So the poor thing couldn't get out of bed after coming home from her research trip and then needed extensive therapy.

    Poor poor liberal.

Anyone want to bet if she went on full time disability when she "couldn't get out of bed"?

Midwest tornadoes were guided over a thousand miles to threaten DC and NYC past few months. They didn't all touch down, but some were close, and the rotating supercells traveled well.

A tornado ripped the roofs right off buildings on the Louisiana Tech campus, a school involved in 5g research and technology. Trashed their baseball stadium too, just for good measure.

Cool It by Bjorn Lomberg is a good documentary about the global warming political movement.

There is a great little portion of Lomberg facing Chinslee as he testifies before congress

Every time one of these threads shows up. It amazes me how many people trust journalists and politicians over scientists who study the climate for a living.

    https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/overcoming-destructive-anger/201811/7-consequences-blaming-others-how-we-manage-anger

    7. Blaming leads to blaming. Brain research increasingly emphasizes that the more frequently we have certain thoughts and behaviors, the more strongly they become embedded in the neuronal pathways of our brain. Consequently, regarding anger provoking situations for example, the more frequently we blame others for how we react, the more likely we will continue to do so. And the more we respond aggressively, the more such aggression becomes the “go-to” reaction.

Sounds like you need to get woke mcblamerpants

Really? Anyone else spend five years planning a move to Ecuador? I was in school during those years and I’m calling bullshit. This wasn’t on anyone’s radar. Head injury?

It's not a religion. It's excess carbon dioxide.
