#kanye at the white house
Whole lot of folks telling him he is on the wrong team
@creepycoug It almost looks like they think skin color should select your political views.

Everybody uses everybody in politics.
Welcome.
But does that mean those blacks are racist?
IDTS
Honestly, I didn't know that. I wish someone would have told me.

If we've expanded the term, I'm down. I just need the new definition.
I haven't changed or moved
I'm a content of their character guy myself but I was raised in the 60's
I thought Abe got it right
rac·ism | \ˈrā-ˌsi-zəm also -ˌshi- \
Definition of racism
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2a : a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles
b : a political or social system founded on racism
3 : racial prejudice or discrimination
Bob has really hung his hat on the pejorative use of Uncle Tom.
If you concede that Uncle Tom is now a racist term because of how it's used or intended to be used, what do you say if Black Person A tells Black Person B that his politics are fucked up because white establishment republicans don't have black people's best interests at heart? Is that racism? Or is A being political?
Similarly, was Kanye being racist when he said George Bush doesn't care about black people? Or was he being political?
Right or wrong in their assertion, Black Person A and Kanye are being political, not racist.
I think my friends like to use this racism shit when it's convenient for the - say, to support black conservatives - and tend to rail against it when it's not - say, to explain why black people tend to have worse outcomes with the police than white people.
Why shouldn't a Black man vote for Trump? Tell us creep
You assume I'm being political. I'm not. I'm telling you that it's not racist. It could wrong, stupid, mis-informed, right, thoughtful, spot-on, etc. etc.
Black people can vote for Trump. IDRGAF. But if another person takes them to task for it, they're not being racist.
TI just took Kanye to task for it in an interview. They argued about it in-person. TI was not being racist ... at ... all.
Little shitwads like hondo get no slack
My main point in splitting the hairs is that people use racism to explain too much shit. I stick with the classical conception of it: you can't design bridges because you're not smart enough, and I know this because you're black.
I also agree to an extend that white liberals telling black people how to vote are, at the very least, over-stepping some boundaries.
We're down to semanticals
