UO gave up on football. They let another program steal their coach and did nothing about it. Instead of ponying up big money and stealing another program's coach, they hired a fucking assistant who has a poor head coaching record. Why is a fucking Cane quooking about it? Go fuck yourself. Even I'm not quooking about any of this shit. This is what happens when you spend less than a fucking week on a coaching search. The most important job in the program and they spend a fucking week looking for the next coach. Enough said.

2. Are you saying they should have done better in bidding war with FSU to keep Willie? Dumber than I thought (and that's saying something); and
3. They might be in a better position now if they do have to fix this in 2 or 3 years because his contract is back ended. If he works out, then they were right and it'll be harder for the next FSU to come get him. If not, they dump him and move on, and at least the the cupboards won't be bare for the next guy.

Where, in that, do you see anything suggesting that Oregon couldn't afford to go toe to toe financially with FSU? Where? Do you see it? Huh? No? Perhaps because IT'S NOT THERE.
Again, I ask: are you saying that Oregon should have allowed themselves to get caught up in a bidding war to keep Willie? A bidding war which, had they prevailed, would have extended his term and cost them more? A guy whose record as based almost entirely on one good year at USF? It has everything to do with what they are willing to afford and what they aren't, fuckwit. If they believed Willie was the messiah that would take them to the promised land, they would have paid whatever price was necessary to make it happen. Might be a smart business man but he's a retard about the football program. You want a title, you pay for it -- big money -- to bring in a proven coach like Urban Meyer and make it happen.
