Nah. If he's having second thoughts it has nothing to do with recruiting hacks. Just got to let it play out.
If he's having second thoughts it's because the recruiting hacks gave the Notre Dame coaches an opportunity to get their foot back in the door before it was slammed in their faces. It's not over and it's hard as fuck to close the same kid twice. The coaches must be livid right now. This is very similar to the Chris Steele situation. The recruiting media has gotten out of hand. Everybody wants to be first. All the recruits read all the boards. As fans we can't even bash the kids anymore out of fear that they might see it and get their feelings hurt and copy and paste a negative message board comment on their Twitter account. Isn't recruiting fun guys? Don't you just love millennials?
Does anyone actually give a fuck about being first? There is no scoop with recruiting. It's not a situation like the water in Flint, priests molesting little boys, and corrupt government. Those are stories where being first matters. Who gives a fuck about being first when you run a message board about teenagers and college football. It's not that serious.
I don't have a problem with Biggins reporting that Turner committed, but doubling down and going back to the coach (if true) is fucking pathetic. The kid obviously doesn't want his commitment to be public yet.
Its their business. They need subscribers.
Disagree. Yeah, they need subscribers, but whether it be doogman, realdoog, or here, 95% of the posters just want to talk Husky Football with fellow Husky fans.
Nobody is here because they think this site breaks news first.
This isn't real journalism. The one who normally breaks the news is Pete himself.
Totally agree, but we have beaten many of them (and Jood) to the punch numerous times over the past few years. Multiple commits, MJ Ale pictures of recruiting boards, UW finances, Adidas contract, etc.
It's an ironic side effect of a bunch of guys who have a lot of free time in the basement and a passion for seeing UW football get back to where it needs to be.
Poopsi breaking the news that the nazi sympathizer was fired was some next level shiet.
Technically that was DDY
The only things Dennis breaks are his own legs hth

Uhh no shit. Be more aware of your audience.
It doesn't matter whether its real journalism or not. Its a business that people pay for (including many posters here) and "breaking" a commitment is a big boost to marketing and prestige.
The dawgman "we'd rather be right than first" only arose in response to subscribers complaining about the lack of "breaking" news.

What so is this guy committed, a secret commit, or not committed at all? Wtf is going on?
Nobody knows. Could be having second thoughts. Could be a solid commit to the coaches but now will take a bit of time before he makes it official publicly since fucktard Biggins spoiled it for him. Chris Steele's commitment to SC was spoiled by another fucktard reporter and he waited a couple weeks for his commitment video to be edited to make it official. All we can do now is wait and hope for a "WOOF".
Asa, if you're reading this we love you and your long flowing hair. Please stay.

Ballz might be right on this one. Weird.
Maybe it's why the UW_Football twitter account is just posting about the hot weather in Seattle. "See, Asa, the weather isn't as shitty as you think!"
God I love speculating about recruits. The downs are very low, but the ups are incredibly high.
Since I know some are worried he hasn't posted anything yet on his twitter feed, just got a message from him saying he's tweeting something out tonight and I'll be doing a video interview with him tomorrow at a 7v7 tournament that he's attending (not working out, ankle still not 100%). He's not a big social media guy to begin with and also said it was a crazy week with his family. Kind of a non-story but again, just passing on since I know some were waiting on that tweet for it to be 'official' lol.
He's back on speaking terms with Biggins. He's ours butt fuckers!

They're probably still feeling stung by their Lorenzo Booker breaking news back in the day.
As in all recruiting decisions made by young men, many factors were considered. Weather. Uniforms. Family. Head coaching. Position coaches. Rabid fans. Academics. Girls (in most cases, but not all) tradition. Branding. Playing time.
Wait, I was told that he was BLOWN AWAY by his trip to ND and that his trip to UW as mediocre. I was also under the impression that this SoCal kid was disappointed and that the weather wasn't what he expected? How can this be?
