*relax gov't cheese recipients, it's a free article.
"He ran with the information, even stating that the coach at Carlsbad told him that Turner didn’t want it made public yet." This makes absolutely no sense considering that the Carlsbad coach tweeted it out...
Ruth has garnered us with new information this evening.....says she just talked to Asa and get this lmao:
Says that he might hold off now. He was hoping things would die down before he went public with anything and since it hasn't, he may just put it off for a while.

He's going to USC or ND.
Lol this has to be a joke. All because his fucking high school coach and fucking Greg Biggins leaked his commitment prematurely. Oh this is gonna be good. Can't wait to see what the Doogman guys come up with after vehemently backing up their guy Biggins. You have fucking Fatters trying to claim there is no protocol to Coach Pete's Woofs and they aren't necessary to report a commitment. You have Kim telling people to "knock it off" for questioning if his commitment is legit. You have Biggins doubling down and releasing a commitment interview with his head coach before the kid has a chance to announce it himself. I'm sitting here like...
I'm hearing the Notre Dame coaches got the heads up that he committed to UW through the recruiting media. When he called them to tell them they were prepared for it and had a hard sell ready to go to get him to hold off on making his commitment public. Now he's gotten cold feet and is thinking about waiting longer and possibly taking official visits in the Fall. Thanks Biggins.
Just kidding. But seriously, can we get a fucking WOOF and public commitment? This is getting awkward. What if everything I just made up is actually true?
He called Petersen to inform him that he had committed to us on Tuesday well before Biggins posted it on Wednesday. I would assume he called ND on Tuesday as well. So I don’t think that story could be plausible anyways.
Actually according to Biggins the reason he didn't publicly commit on Tuesday was because he wanted to call the Notre Dame coaches and tell them personally out of respect. Problem is he had a difficult time getting a hold of them and didn't get them on the phone until today. He told Roof he would make his commitment known on Twitter this afternoon and still nothing. So, it is plausible. Been a while since we've had some recruiting drama. We might be due. I'm no longer considering him a commit until I see a WOOF and public commitment.
say anything negative about biggins and you are directed straight to this:
"we’ll just give you a cooling off period, also known as a timeout. What that means is we’ll revoke your ability to post for a day. You’ll still be able to read, but not post. The second time it happens, it will be three days. If it happens a third time, your posts will need to be approved by a moderator prior to it being posted. That’s pretty much the last step before being shown the door."
Dawg53 says "Ruth runs her business like Coach Pete runs his program - integrity, the student-athlete first, and the game comes last. That's why we love her and her site. "
bro, she's not gonna fuck you. probably not, anyway. nevermind. go for it.
Nah. If he's having second thoughts it has nothing to do with recruiting hacks. Just got to let it play out.
If he's having second thoughts it's because the recruiting hacks gave the Notre Dame coaches an opportunity to get their foot back in the door before it was slammed in their faces. It's not over and it's hard as fuck to close the same kid twice. The coaches must be livid right now. This is very similar to the Chris Steele situation. The recruiting media has gotten out of hand. Everybody wants to be first. All the recruits read all the boards. As fans we can't even bash the kids anymore out of fear that they might see it and get their feelings hurt and copy and paste a negative message board comment on their Twitter account. Isn't recruiting fun guys? Don't you just love millennials?

Does anyone actually give a fuck about being first? There is no scoop with recruiting. It's not a situation like the water in Flint, priests molesting little boys, and corrupt government. Those are stories where being first matters. Who gives a fuck about being first when you run a message board about teenagers and college football. It's not that serious.
I don't have a problem with Biggins reporting that Turner committed, but doubling down and going back to the coach (if true) is fucking pathetic. The kid obviously doesn't want his commitment to be public yet.

Dawg53 says "Too bad you can't sue Biggins for something like this. Kid really deserves his time in the sun, and Biggins made a mockery of it."
Sue lmao.
