I was wondering if anybody on here has heard anything about Asa. His twitter was recently wiped clean of all UW related things and many of his recent likes are pro-ND. None of the pay sites are saying anything yet, but there seems to be at least a little smoke. Any info?
He had wiped it all once before, a couple weeks after he committed but there was still UW tweets still present. Now there’s no UW anywhere and a bunch of liked tweets from ND fans.
"On any committed recruits elsewhere still talking to Notre Dame …
It won’t be an easy pull, but Notre Dame absolutely hasn’t given up its pursuit of Carlsbad (Calif.) high school four-star linebacker Asa Turner. I made it very clear early on how coveted the 6-4, 215-pounder was by the Fighting Irish coaching staff and that remains the case today, despite his pledge to Washington. I’m told dialogue with the Notre Dame coaches has been constant since his initial commitment to the Huskies and the staff is still hopeful that he considers taking another trip to South Bend, albeit very late in the process. I’m told Notre Dame’s impressive work on the field this year, especially by the defense, continues to have Turner intrigued by the program."
"When I said he was 100% committed on Monday, I was right. At the time, he was 100% committed. Things can change in recruiting at the drop of a hat. On Tuesday, he was no longer committed but I was right at the time when I said on Monday he was 100% committed."
