Roof had a little rant about how Addison has said he has a bond with the coaches at Oregon, which she found strange since he never visited, didn’t talk to the current staff, and never spoke about Oregon during his recruitment.
She says it’s “stinky” that they suddenly built a relationship after he signed with UCLA.
She then went on to do some major WDWHA by saying if he couldn’t get into UCLA he definitely couldn’t get into UW. Which is funny because by all accounts he has been cleared by every school except UCLA.

that my friend is how a recruiting analyst separates himself/herself from a fan - the ability to fictionalize the shit out of everything they don't know.

Ruth's ability to get chinformation from recruits far exceeds her ability to relate that chinformation to her customers without 37 layers of bias.

To be fair, anyone with half a brain can see that him announcing that he was recruitable again and then Oregon ends up being the rumored leader on the same day was fishy. He wasn't even interested enough in them to visit the first time around and they jump to his leaders when anyone besides UCLA talking to him would be a violation? Not hard to put two and two together.
The part about not being able to get into UW is bs though. For a recruit to qualify for UW out of high school they just have to meet the minimum NCAA requirements. Stanford chooses to have higher standards for qualifying and UCLA chooses to have slightly higher standards to qualify. Everyone else in the Pac-12 uses the minimum NCAA requirements.

"Good bond with the coaches" is always code for "they spend every waking hour stroking my penis ego".
Oregon's staff have time to do that, because they don't do any actual football stuff.

That's a doog narrative that won't ever die it seems. UW's minimum standards, which are all that scholarship or (I'm pretty sure) preferred walk-on players have to meet, are the NCAA minimums just like the rest of the league aside from the two schools you mentioned. It was pointed out in doog threads all the time on dm.com, but they'd just ignore it and continue on with the narrative.

This is not true. Both UCLA and UW have higher standards. Our math and langauge requirements are higher than ncaa minimums.
Sark had many athletes that had to appear before an admissions board who met the ncaa minimums. I do not recall if they rejected any in this manner.
Good get for Oregon. Can someone explain how a school he never considered/visited skyrocketed to #1 out of the blue? Particularly one of zero tradition or academic precedence? Is there an explanation beyond promised starting time or getting paid?

Big fan of your handle. It sounds like something XBox Live would issue for a gamer tag after notifying you that the one you really wanted is already taken. Ah memories.
What a fucking idiot. If you're gonna go to some mediocre program with lesser academic prestige you better at least go to a school with a bunch of bad bitches walking around in short shorts year round.
Sidenote: Oregon is taking a million WR's and DB's. On top of adding Addison to their 2018 class they want to take FIVE WR's and FIVE DB's this class while taking one, maybe two offensive lineman. My fucking head would explode if this was the case with UW recruiting but quooks love it. I've been told Oregon is going to be the Alabama of the West.
Wait what? I heard that the depth chart was scaring kids off because they'd never crack the rotation?
All he ever told people was he wanted to play WR. The most important thing to him was playing time. And now he joins the deepest secondary in the country?

“Even though that was the one school I never visited, things just felt right for me there”
I mean, I was clear he was going to UO, but WTF kind of explanation is that. Teenagers are fucking baffling.
