Not to mention a rise in military spending2001400ex said:
And wth tax cuts and infrastructure spending, Trump is going to fix the deficit? Just watch, your news sources will go from "the sky is falling because of debt/deficit and labor participation" to "look how great this economy is" in about a month.TurdBuffer said:
Pure sophistry, Hondo. Dems and you love to replace "debt" with "deficit" to mask the overall debt situation. It's like a bum arguing that he's "making more money begging this month than last." BFD. Being a little less underwater doesn't change the fact a person is still drowning.2001400ex said:
Because you believe fake news. The deficit is 1/3 now of what it was in Bush's last budget. How can it cost us trillions?Sledog said:
If we spent more previously why is this costing TRILLIONS?dhdawg said:
We spend more for worse outcomes. I don't think that is superiorPurple_Pills said:
No such thing as "free healthcare." Just because everyone else has an inferior system doesn't mean we should either. Scraping that fascist unaffordable care act will save billions in the short term, trillions in the long run.dhdawg said:
the cowards who don't think that is enough are ironically calling other people snowflakes.
and since everyone loves to ask the question about free healthcare, which every other modern nation has, how do you propose we pay for a nuclear arms race? -
There's no such thing as a "free market" in healthcare either. Nobody wakes up in the morning and says "I think I'll spend three weeks in the oncology ward at Harborview, have all my hair fall out, and get my house foreclosed on because the insurance I can barely afford is playing games about paying my claim."Purple_Pills said:

Trump's gonna do what Hillary did, just without her ( and you). Relax.

That's the crazy part. My buddy has our firms best insurance, it's $1,500 a month (his cost is like $600). His wife had a brain tumor 5 years ago. Last month they found the remaining had started to grow again, so radiation is the easiest and best treatment (next step is to cut her head open again if this doesn't work).AZDuck said:

The insurance company still won't confirm in writing that it will cover the cost, 5 weeks into radiation. Chances are they will, be might have to fight for it.
But it's shit like that that actually needs to be fixed in the health system. That Obamacare didn't address. -
Your straw man existed long before Obamacare and GOP wanted to address it but we're stonewalled.
You lost. You get NO say. Sit quietly. -

When the fuck did Republicans put forth a plan to fix issues like this? You do know that they control Congress so it would be very easy to get a fix like that to the president's desk. And would bipartisan.
You are a dumbfuck if you believe what you wrote. -
You should shut your fucking ass.doogie said:Your straw man existed long before Obamacare and GOP wanted to address it but we're stonewalled.

Especially in the USA. I think it's funny how so many people think we have more of a free market healthcare system operating in this country than others simply because we don't have universal health care or whatever it's called these days.AZDuck said:There's no such thing as a "free market" in healthcare either.
To anyone who thinks otherwise, go look at how many pages of healthcare and healthcare insurance regulations exist at the state and federal level. Then, consider all the court rulings. After that, you'll see that almost everything is controlled by the government.

Burn it down
All of it -
Not to mention there is the requirement to provide health care first then ask for money later in the ER. This means that those with insurance and cash pay for those without. We already have socialised medicine regardless of what it's called.Fenderbender123 said:
