The Rs attempted to filibuster Obamacare and failed. It was that brief moment in time when Obama and the democrats could do what they wanted. They wanted to keep the insurance companies in play and Democrats from more conservative areas did not want single payer. While I am sure some were thinking the long game I would bet most just wanted the cash from the insurance companies who were paying for their survival.

It's crashing because the Rs are now refusing to pay the insurance companies taxpayer dollars.

Now we do need to scrap it
