It's all NWG's fault. After watching the Gonzaga – St. Mary’s game I had the thought of how differently the last two years could have been. Imagine if Nigel Williams-Goss stayed at UW for the 2015-2016 season. NWG would have been the starter instead of Dejounte Murray. I’m sure Murray would have played but not as a starter and maybe not enough to get courted to the NBA. Chriss would have still been a starter but if Murray never left for the draft maybe Chriss would have stayed another year as well (he did say Murray was the one who convinced him to leave). UW finished 18-14, 9-9 that year, maybe Goss could have been the difference in 4-5 more wins and a tournament bid. Speculate whether NWG leaves after his junior year or not (even as a senior at Gonzaga he still doesn’t show up on any NBA mock drafts), but consider this year if NWG, Murray and Chriss all stayed with Fultz added to the roster. Even if NWG left, consider if Murray and Chriss had stayed.
