Billy Graham sells the couch

Like the NFL, Sundays are a bummer . Church is boring i get that...but keep it off this forum. As far as ass fucking is concerned, keep trying. She'll give in eventually. But when she does dont bury it. Start with the head the 1st time. Tease her with an inch at a time.. Pretty soon she'll be grabbing your hips and sinking that buddy of yours. Dont dump in there though, itll be the last time. I know its tempting, but unload on her back. Otherwise youre cooking dinner for 3 days

Too bad he didn't take Franklin with him

Billy Graham was a fine man and good to the country. He will be missed.

Agreed. Swaggart and Jessica Hahn were way more entertaining but BG was one for the ages.doogie said:Billy Graham was a fine man and good to the country. He will be missed.
Hoping he enjoys his 72 virgins in heaven.

Former President Jimmy Carter said in a statement that Graham “had an enormous influence on my own spiritual life.”
“Rosalynn and I are deeply saddened to learn of the death of The Reverend Billy Graham,” Carter said. “Tirelessly spreading a message of fellowship and hope, he shaped the spiritual lives of tens of millions of people worldwide. Broad-minded, forgiving, and humble in his treatment of others, he exemplified the life of Jesus Christ by constantly reaching out for opportunities to serve."
People forget that Jimmy was the first candidate to say he was born again -
Jimmy Carter also said he had lust in his heart. I can respect that.RaceBannon said:Former President Jimmy Carter said in a statement that Graham “had an enormous influence on my own spiritual life.”

Not as much as William Jefferson blowing his wad on the blue dress - but still respect.

One of the few Playboy articles I actually read was his interview. Jimmy Conner's girlfriend was naked in itPurpleThrobber said:

Jimmy had it going on. I couldn't read the articles in that issue because some pages were stuck together.RaceBannon said:

People forget that Billy Graham really hated North Vietnamese lesbians. In April 1969 he suggested to Nixon that if Peace talks failed we should bomb the dikes and end the war.

Billy was the first event in the Kingdome

I respected that Graham, at least, tried to maintain an a-political stance as opposed to being completely in the bag for the right- e.g., like Jerry Falwell.

Because that's what I do....a google image search of "North Vietnamese Lesbians" proves Billy was right.
Not hot.
The South Vietnamese Lesbian search wasn't much different.

Yes, I know it's cute. But he wasn't nearly as bad of some of the evangelical right. He never joined the Moral Majority for example.BearsWiin said:

Nobody forgot. There is a big, big difference between a guy like Carter and a modern-day religious fundy.RaceBannon said:Former President Jimmy Carter said in a statement that Graham “had an enormous influence on my own spiritual life.”

Carter was born and raised in the south a bazillion years ago in a culture of going to church and being a decent human being in accord with basic Christian principles. Despite that baggage, he also graduated in the top 10% of his class at Annapolis, and wasn't ever accused as an adult of diddling the little girls in Plains.
He was a shitty President by most accounts, but he was no Ted Cruz, much less the white trash rabble that support Roy Moore. More than anything, I think Jimmy appreciates the concept of separation of church and state.
The bananas who've overtaken the republican party, the people Trump secretly still laffs at, don't. -

We all do. It's what we do in that 1%, when the decisions are hard, when doing the right thing might not be the easy thing, that separate decent people from lousy assholes.salemcoog said:

The man amassed wealth and influence acting as a purveyor of spiritual snake oil, and he laid the groundwork for others, including his own spawn, to use the religious right as a political force for shitty policy over the last four decades. -

I'm crushed.
Btw, Salem isn't even close to 99%. Frankly, none of us are. I'll bet Billy wasn't either. -
We're evolved to be cooperative; it conveys a huge survival advantage, and we do it so much that we don't even think about it most of the time. We don't need Christ in our hearts to act nicely to each other.creepycoug said:

Also agreed that, while Graham was a lot more tolerable in his M/O than the typical evangelical, he did commit the hubris of making snake oil salesmen acceptable to broad range of people. -
