You fuck up Expenses budgeted by $16 MILLION?!?
Revenue projections off? OK - fine, not enough people bought tickets and Larry Scott's network is shit. That crystal ball is murky.
But missing operating expenses projections by that amount is just shit. At least budget the prior year actual and go from there in trying to control costs.

1. Create search committee and identify national targets
2. Reveal budget projections...lose all credible external candidates
3. Hire mediocre internal candidate
4. Release budget projects EXCLUDING debt service
5. Release all-in budget projections before meeting the Trustees
The incompetence is deafening, and the train crash will be extraordinary to watch. Why Petersen is here is becoming increasingly difficult to understand. Frankly, he is the AD's version on a Hail Mary. -

Jen's pledge to upgrade the gameday experience will solve the attendance problems at Husky Stadium. If she's looking for suggestions to accomplish same my personal favorite has always been cowboy monkeys. Fill a halftime with these little guys - problem solved.

Thank the gods that Sarkisian left on his own accord rather than UW having to fire him (paying him to go away would've cost millions).
Nothing will bring back the casual / band-wagon fans like winning. I'm sure a few thousand swapped their Husky tickets for Hoook tickets the last few years. -
Christ, I decided not to pay for Husky tickets last year and went to every game (and yes, Sven, I still paid too much).
