But missing operating expenses projections by that amount is just shit. At least budget the prior year actual and go from there in trying to control costs.

I would hire the guy that runs the 600 Sq ft general store in my fucktarded town as AD/President over these socialist mouthbreathers who espouse to hate capitalism, money, and the very system that allowed the University to exist in the first place.
That guy has to make payroll and his entire livelihood on a shitty little store that caters to drunks, tweekers, loggers, and flatlander fishermen. And he does it and has nice stuff. He has shown far more REAL WORLD skills on balancing a budget.
So, yeah....I'm sure that using him as the bottom of the choice chain and embracing the nearly infinite people that would be a better choice, we'd be stuck with only having Lehman types.
This University is a bunch of bottom feeders because of politics. It's fucking embarassing.
