Someone needs to stop Pete

Helfrich made the CFP title game.Passion said:
Uhhh... Who are the top 3 coaches in the conference?RoadDawg55 said:
Just stop. Petersen hasn't proven he's even a top 3 coach in the conference. I'm pretty sure he's not.puppylove_sugarsteel said:When you're a top 3 coach in america, you can get away with anything, including 3 wins in year 3. Trumpy knows all about that type of latitude.
1) David Shaw
2) ????
3) ????
Graham and Helton have won division titles.
Peterman hasn't even kept up with Sark. -

"Fine" means shut your splitskinny and see what happens. Im 100% confident in Pete, which is why I dont pop blood vessel's in my cunt everytime Pete has a poor 2-minute series, in game 2 of his 2nd year during a massive rebuilding process. If you knew a good god damned thing about football you'd just shut your hole until Petersen can field a competitive team. Takes a few years potlicker. Doesnt happen in 2 years. Good, now zip your tender lips and wait.RoadDawg55 said:
We have different definitions of "fine." 8 wins is fine to you because you're a true retard who thinks Petersen inherited a 4 win team.puppylove_sugarsteel said:
Unbun your cunt 55, relax, Pete will be just fine at UW.RoadDawg55 said:

There were huge holes in the depth chart but massive rebuild?
Even under Ty and Gilby, UW has had the talent to win 4-6 games every year. Coaching matters. -
I like to criticize a coach for winning his conference and making the CFP, but fully support my own coach winning 7-8 games in year 3 with a charmin soft schedule. I do that.puppylove_sugarsteel said:Uh baabs, this aint tOSU. DING DING DING! What has stoops done the last 8 years (not counting the ass fuckings in playoff)? And in Tressels case, cheating doesnt prosper. Pete got to 92-12 the right way and is still coaching. $toops got to playoff because of the politics of the new playoffs, the big12 snub prior. Hardly a head coach id gloat about.
When Pete has his roster intact he'll win 10/year in an 8-team league, not a 3-team league like the big12. And he wont have an 8-year insignificance drought in said 3-team league. Lot harder to win in pac. Pete would win 11 games per @ Oklahoma -
In a parallel universe your message board does have a Canaduh button. Probably one for Alabummer too.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:
You're still hapring on that?DerekJohnson said:
It blows my mind that someone who comes up with gems like "Canaduh" mocks those who love "Chincredible".Fire_Marshall_Bill said:
They both can stay in Canaduh along with Sum 41 and Avril Lavigne. IDGAF about Drake that much, but he seems like kind of a poser.allpurpleallgold said:Drake is no Bieber.
Difference is, if I had a message board, there wouldn't be a Canaduh button. I also don't write "Canaduh" dozens of times a week like people here who think Chincredible is George Carlin greatest hits material. -
Comparing Helfrich to Petersen is fucking dumb. Helf was Oregons OC and didn't have to completely overhaul the system coming in like Petersen did, and also didn't have to deal with massive attrition that left holes in the depth chart.
Helf did have 2 really good years to start, but once all of Chip's main talent started leaving he got exposed. Oregons defense has gotten worse and worse, recruiting hasn't been bringing in the same level of talent as in the Chip era, and QB development has been a dubstep fire.
Pete had enough talent to do better than he did, and bad coahing cost 3-5 more losses than there should've been. BUT it's fucking dumb to assume he inherited a situation as good as Helfrich. There should be some gap between the expectations.
Overall though, both Pete and Helf deserve the axe after this year if they do any worse than 9-3. Pete needs to prove his system can win now that it's all in place, and Helf needs to make last year's train wreck seem like a fluke. -
Good thing is that wont happen @ UW aunty. He'll get 5 years even if he goes 6-7, and deservedly so.NEsnake12 said:Comparing Helfrich to Petersen is fucking dumb. UW doesn't give a fuck about winning. Puppy is dialed in on the truth here. -

That's why I say deserves to and not will. Romar's continued employment tells that story loud and clear.puppylove_sugarsteel said:

Let me explain base. Ty and sark got 5 (sark would have got 6 or more) Pete is a better coach, and by a fucking mile. See the logic there ya dipshit base?
