Husky Half Brains Episode 70

I'll have to disagree about Browning. I mean, I know at this point i'm all-in on him, but I guess I didn't see "the see the fear in him" that you described.
Kind of the opposite, he's a straight up winner and thought he had pretty great demeanor for a true frosh. The ASU game was bad and he missed more deep than I thought he would, but I bet with 15 more pounds that will change.
Bold prediction saying he won't start all 4 years, but this sophomore season will tell us what is what.
Nice cast, first time listener. -
Race, I love your story about hitting rock bottom and letting your life collapse all around you. I am close. Any good pro tips so I can get kicked out of my trailer and live on the street? I am so fucking close to total failure. Help me.

After you tell me how to fail utterly, then give me a job making these big construction bucks. Thanks.

I'm still waiting for the pics of the Messican sisters.

True.

I spent most of my life fearing losing it all. Once it happened it was liberating. I rarely regretted not playing it safe even at the very edge of the abyss. I didn't feel like I left anything behind that I really wanted.Swaye said:Race, I love your story about hitting rock bottom and letting your life collapse all around you. I am close. I feel like I can't take your poasts seriously anymore now because I have heard your voice. I always just imagined the actual Race Bannon's voice, and now it was ruined by listening to the pod for this first time. FUCKRaceBannon said:

So why weren't the Huskies liberated after 0-12?RaceBannon said:

Finally finished it. LOL at the end, "we can't do the awkward goodbye" then proceed to do the awkward goodbye.
Quick note on advanced metrics as they relate to football. I believe the metrics are pretty accurate when you have a 162 game season or even in basketball where there are 82 games and everyone is playing everyone a few times.
When you're only playing 12-14 games but comparing the numbers against 120+ teams, the metrics don't really tell you anything.
College football is special because to win your division, your league, your BCS or Natty bowl playoff you need to be dominant. You need to have the better hand and be good enough to not get sucked out when the cards aren't dealt in your favor.
My eye test tells me Petersen is building a better program than Sark, and maybe if UW played a 120 game season the metrics that say the 7-6 Dawgs are better than a handful of those 8-5, 9-4, even 10-3 teams would prove true.
But it's not good enough in college football. All you can know definitively is did you win the Pac, win the Rose Bowl, or not.
I think Petersen turns it around, but smart money is on 8-5.
