Just to think we? would have been 10-3 in 2015 with him.

I hate to be THAT guy.... but he played for most of 2014, also.

Way to shit on the John Ross +3 game myth.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:I hate to be THAT guy.... but he played for most of 2014, also.

Did he seriously run 104 yards with some jukes in 11 seconds?

That was the famous 9 win season that should have been a north title.UWerentThereMan said:Ah yes, I believe we went 7-6 that year. What a time
And that one did not get called back. -

Flip the field, and this is almost a mirror image of Deanthony Thomas' return in the Fiesta Bowl.
Both players are stupid fast. -
DAT was used properly and was a total weapon. Smiff will fuck things up with Ross. Cook it.greenblood said:Flip the field, and this is almost a mirror image of Deanthony Thomas' return in the Fiesta Bowl.

Exactly what I was thinking. We? have a way of wasting talent at Montlake.Swaye said:

ON WHAT GROUNDS DOES THAT MORON STILL HAVE A JOB? This is why I made that other thread -- I tried to force myself to put up a defense for him but I can't wrap my head around it. All the other great things Petersen has done -- instate recruiting, S&C, defense, ST etc, this sticks out like a sore thumb.Swaye said:

Also, I really hope Ross retains his speed. Good god what a burner. -
What does he have, like 7 returns for TDs? 2 that actually counted?
-
I wouldn't say Ross was wasted. Thats too strong of a conclusion. Ross only played half the year on offense, was dealing with a noodle armed QB and didn't get a lot of opportunities due to the friction with Pease. The position coaches determine who plays and gets the reps.
DAT was a running back, Ross is not. DAT had 18 TD's his first two years while Ross I think had 7 TD's last year. DAT had 1150-1200 yards from scrimmage his first two years. The goal for Ross should be to reach 1000 yards from scrimmage and have 1 TD/game. Because Ross is a WR and not a RB he wont get as many touches as DAT but DAT can't indirectly impact the passing game like a WR can. Ross will put up good numbers but the key is that his presence gives a statistical boost to the passing game and we see a jump in production from the other WRs. -
Yep. What they seem to be planning for McGrew is much closer to a DAT than Ross. Line him up in the backfield with the primary back and use him for quick passes and the occasional handoff or direct snap. I think Oregon calls the position Lazer or Phazer or something gay like that. If Ross is utilized correctly, he'll be more like a Jaydon Mickens (except good)HeretoBeatmyChest said:I wouldn't say Ross was wasted. Thats too strong of a conclusion. He remembered he already used up his 2 wins, so he dropped it because he's not John "3 wins" Ross III.GrundleStiltzkin said:THIS might actually be the last time.

Obviously he was surprised the pass even traveled that far and was like DaFuq is this
-
Ross is a superb athlete with the great hips worth at least 3 wins.

You are huffing methane. Browning would have underthrown Ross on every occasion. Even he hit a few it would have been inconsequential. We were .500 because Sark forgot to recruit for 5 years. Ross wouldnt have won this team 4 games tardo. Now next year....PurpleBaze said:Just to think we? would have been 10-3 in 2015 with him.
Remember puppy only one here who said Ross' s injury was a good thing as he'd be here, instead of the NFL, when we were going to be good and his services really mattered. One of you boofuses saved my Ross posts im sure...dig it up
