Knows something? No need to be conspiratorial, the guy was getting CPR with millions of people watching. Even if he springs out of his hospital bed right now, no worse for wear, none of those players are going to want to finish that game.
They have to outright cancel. There’s no realistic place on the calendar to put it.

I already laugh thinking about how some of our more esteemed posters here function in real life social situations. But people with politics tourettes must be absolutely exhausting to be around. Pure rage and rants, no self awareness.
Backpack says you're suffering from projection.

There's no way the players could have come back to full game mode after that. I think both coaches had their minds made up, correctly, when they first met on the field.

count on Fleenor to equate a football death to a golf course death or incident. They are not even comparable. unless it slows your round or maybe your tee time. I got a call at work one day, a couple of friends were golfing Echo Lake and one of them collapsed and died on hole number 10 or maybe 11.

Well, I was silent for a minute and then asked "what happened? Did he make a good shot?" followed quickly by "did Mel finish the round?"
reply "yeah but he got a rain ticket cause he did not get done before dark, had to drag Dick everywhere along with him" "teach those cheap bastards not to rent a cart"

Hell we told golf death jokes for 25 minutes - when I got off the phone a guy near me asked what that was all about, he didn't believe a friend had died. Death is tragic, enjoy it - even at my expense.

Just went to the twatters and the place is nuts with this injury. This shit happens day in and day out across the world - be it sports, hard labor, office work, people drop unfortunately. It was caught live on TV so it is a 'special' injury. Nah - sorry for his family as I would be for all the ones that they refuse to report on. Life happens, death happens. Obviously, on TV it is worth more.

I don't watch the NFL so did not know it happened, I don't watch much TV so I do not sympathize with lots of 'stars' deaths and emotional breakdowns. A little callous on my part - probably. but I am an old fart and get off my lawn

Text we received had to be wrong. Hopefully the young man recovers soon. If he does, medical heros and technology will have saved his life.

haie and bill anti vaxxers? I'm SHOCKED.

Go crawl back under your hole.

I'm against people being forced to get it and all the heavy handed coercion and lies we've seen the past two years.

Nice to see the whole stadium taking a knee and praying... now let's talk about the years of lawsuits the poor guy from Bremerton went through to be able to say a prayer with his high school football team. NFL is a bunch of fucking hypocrites, I don't watch or listen to a minute of it.

And yet 10+ soccer (the sport where it’s most common) players died of cardiac events on the field annually pre 2020. It just wasnt publicized because we didn’t have a bunch of people getting their brains microwaved by freedomeagle.net. In fact, 2022 had the fewest on-field deaths since 2014.
This was one of the articles I had read on the subject. Soccer is actually discussed. https://goodsciencing.com/covid/athletes-suffer-cardiac-arrest-die-after-covid-shot/

We don't know if it's vaccine related or not, but some of you need to get your news from somewhere besides CNN, Seattle Slimes, and censored social media.

    The correct response.

You want to be a guinea pig? Be my guest.

You want to go Dr Mengle and force it in others? Say hello to my little fren.

The only thing I know for sure is that did not look like a football injury. At all.

Therefor all possibilities are on the table.

To deny the rash of young people with heart issues is not paying attention.

Why would one particular event possibility receive the most violent opposition - let alone a fair, objective evaluation?

    Safe and effective. Allegedly.

    No they haven’t been.

Anyway, your camp’s stance will really gain traction if you make this event about the vaccine though. I can’t imagine why people don’t take it seriously.
The most accurate thing you’ve ever stated.

    Just can’t.

A person with a >than room temperature iq would take this opportunity of being publicly humiliated to reflect internally and take a serious look at the unreliable sources of info they are being fed.

I’m going to bet you’ll just dive deeper down the 8chan rabbit hole though.

Dr. Mengle? Is that a combination of the Nazi doctor and the guy who discovered the basic principles of heredity?
    Mendel Mengele…same difference. Lulz.

    Pressing badly.

People come to the main boards to talk football, not to project vaccine hot takes about guys who just got taken off the field.

If people wanna be Google champions we have a place for that.

No one in this thread (or almost no one) told you to get jabbed.
    OK.gif

I didn’t start the vaxx convo. But again, to deny this collapsing athlete isn’t eerily similar to the rash of collapsing athletes isn’t paying attention.

Anybody with a half-a-brain doesn’t use google for important issues.

Lots of Fuhrer Insley voters in thread. Nuff said on that.

That wasn't his point. The visceral reaction to a simple question was his point. Yours is there's maybe a time and place for those questions which is fair enough.
