Peterman is good.... but it's like show-biz. Opening night in the first performance at home.... quarterback may have first game jitters.... staff not used to coaching under this particular set of circumstances.... might work, but might have kinks to iron out. Eastern has proven in recent years that it can contend (read: defeat) PAC teams. Washington has certain weaknesses. Can they be exploited? I don't know. I think most of you guys expect all I-AA to be identical. But, Idaho St and Portland St are not like Eastern. You just think it is all the same.

Eastern had just won the national championship and schooled the huskies on all fundamentals with the severe exception of turnovers, like 0 -5. Peterman is a good coach. But, he may still need to work out the kinks of coaching at BCS mighty PAC-12 UW. Miley Cyler will be starting his first game of the year. He should be fine, but who knows? I am a little worried about the defensive backfield. I mean, look, teams are going to throw at the new guys.
ONe other thing to keep in mind, just for thought, is that EWU has far more guys as a % of team from this state than "Washington". -

I have a gift for rooting out doog groupthink... the Apostle was spot-on from day one when posters said Coach Willingham would be the next Don James, when posters said Gilby would restore DJ toughness to the team, when posters said Mora was the best candidate. I've only whiffed on Neuheisel, but then only partly. If you go back and read my comments here, they all are balanced and make sense. But that isn't what you want. You want your little groupthink to continue here, and if you can label somebody an idiot, then you think your argument and opinion is true. SO done with this thread.

Yes, they a PAC 12 team but that doesn't mean they're special. It just means they played Oregon State.
At the end of the day, they've got a group of guys who mostly couldn't play at the BCS level.
