@puppylove_sugarsteel queef something outta that twat of yours. Wanna talk some football.
Last year I ran you in an Ulofoshio thread. This would be a fitting place to make your return and start re-building that brand. -
lol at @RoadDawg55's favorite player Sirmon in the top 10YellowSnow said: -

Not hating him as much this year. He’s improved, but he has to start making plays. He whiffed on two fairly easy sacks.Houhusky said: -
Concur. During the game I was furious with his missed sacks and guessing at where the run was going and taking himself out of the play.RoadDawg55 said:

But he also had 9 tackles, and 5 or 6 were actually nice solo tackles tracking the ball carrier to the sideline and stopping them for a 3 or 4 yard game. Overall he had a decent game. And against Arizona he played well.
What I’ve seen so far is that in two games he has guessed where the run was going instead of sticking to his assignment, as well as missing some arm tackles and whiffing on open sacks. But he has had moments where he is reading the play correctly and making a good play.
Obviously, stop doing the fucking former and consistently do the latter. Sirmon doesn’t need to be Ulofoshio. If he plays consistent sound football and does his job, then a lot of the plays we have been screaming at become short or no gains. Do your fucking job all the time and stop guessing. -
He needs to let it rip. I think he’s a smart player that overthinks things and it makes him play slow and indecisive.DoogCourics said:

I’m not against him getting replaced and he should get replaced if he doesn’t step it up. That said he has improved and he’s not that far away from being a good player. We’ll see if he can start making some of the impact plays. -
Our LB situation is weird. I thought Tafisi looked good but now he is stuck behind two players with the same eligibility he has
-
Yeah, the LB depth chart is a real cluster fuck because you have like 6 guys who are RS Sophs or RS Freshmen for 2 positions. So when people say we are deep at LB, that's true but eligibility wise we could really have some problems in a couple years. Some will leave for playing time elsewhere, and the rest will all graduate together. We took 1 lb last year (Bruener) and it appears we are only taking 1 this year (Latu) and he comes with a giant red flag. UW could be in a world of hurt at that position in a couple years.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Our LB situation is weird. They should redshirt Tafisi

Thank Allah. It would be immoral if it did.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Ideally we would have better LB’s, but I don’t think it’s that bad of situation. Everyone preserves eligibility this year.bananasnblondes said:

We need 2 of Tuputala, Heimuli, Calvert, and Ah You to develop into starting caliber players. They will still be freshmen next season. I wouldn’t be shocked if one of them or Tafisi leave, but who really knows?
It took too long for Ulo to play last year. Azeem didn’t play until his RS-Soph season. Scott Lawyer was rotating in before him before he erupted once getting a chance in 2015. Different position but ZTF barely played last year. Guys develop at different rates.
We don’t really know what we have in the young LB’s. It’s one of the toughest positions in football mentally and it can take guys awhile to grasp everything. I think that’s part of the reason why Sirmon seems to have such a hold on his job. -
I would like to personally bob Gregory for that cluster fuck of LB room. Kids going to transfer.bananasnblondes said:

I know we hate Bobby, but it’s not really his fault if/when a 3rd string LB transfers. Kids want to play.FireCohen said:

One of those guys that aren’t in the mix are probably going to transfer. We have four guys the same class and two sophomores starting.
Unless those guys really want a UW degree, they aren’t going to stick around and be a 3rd or 4th string player. -
It’s his fault for not landing and keeping adequate talent year over year.RoadDawg55 said:

And i will never forgive him for Wellington/Manu starting. Bob provides no value to the program and is a well paid assistant. -
We have had 1 bad LB year and 4 stellar ones.AtomicDawg said:

The Bob Gregory hate on this board never made any sense and is another DDYFS platitude
If you want to argue special teams, fine -
He also coaches our special teams. Nearly cost us the beavs game alone with those plays. He is not worth what he is getting paid.PostGameOrangeSlices said:
