Having just been reminded of how badly the ATF fucked this up in Waco

Guess who runs narcotics in our great land? Criminals! So they deal with the worst and most violent of criminals quite regularly. They ain't you typical alphabet agency. They actually do police work! Educate yourself.GreenRiverGatorz said:

So you are equating ATF to DEA? Vastly different. DEA does law enforcement every day. Real actual on the street stuff. All major narcotics related. ATF doesn't. HTHGreenRiverGatorz said:

DEA are federal law enforcement officers. They certainly have powers and in my experience were pretty good. Why so upset they investigating you?GreenRiverGatorz said:It's fucking terrifying that we have an acting DEA head who is actively trying to get involved in a situation that is so far removed from his agency's jurisdiction and purpose. Shea can get fucked.
Let's take a step back for you. Going back to Wilbur's framing of this post, I think most can agree that the ATF getting involved in Waco was a massive abuse of federal law enforcement. Yeah, they had guns, but their main intent was to take down a religious cult. Way outside the ATF's purview, and 25 years later it's still considered one of the biggest miscarriages of federal law enforcement justice and one of the easiest examples of how shit can go wrong when you have overzealous federal cops following every justice boner they have.
The DEA getting involved in riots today would follow a lot of the same parallels, except they'd have even less justification to get involved than the ATF did back in Waco. What possible reason could the DEA have to jump into the fray? Marijuana possession of many of the rioters? Fuck that. -
If explosives are starting to get used(like at Korean War Memorial) you can bet all manner of fed is going to get activated irregardless.

He's just saying it's outside of their normal jurisdiction.Sledog said:

The other problem is the lefty states implemented no bail policies so for rioting, theft and vandalism etc they are simply cited out and they are back on the streets looting againPurpleThrobber said:
Maybe if some fuckwad leftist governors and mayors would denounce Antifa and enforce looting and vandalism and arson laws, it wouldn't come to this.GreenRiverGatorz said:It's fucking terrifying that we have an acting DEA head who is actively trying to get involved in a situation that is so far removed from his agency's jurisdiction and purpose. Or are you and #teamburncities to the ground, too, like the Dazzler? -

What I've found in my travels is 99% of people are full of shit and gladly involve the state into covert ops when they get sufficiently uncomfortable. -

Surveillance of all types was being rolled out for the Vid as well. Its all bullshit. These peaceful riots can be stopped with conventional force. It might look bad on TV but that's been the way its been forever.
2020 is the year of the STATE. That's why the unity at the start of the Floyd incident had to be destroyed.
By pandemic or panic by any means necessary. If you can't see we really are all in this together I can't help you -

2020 has revealed the deep hypocrisy is a stunning way. The left was screaming at people over the VID and the right was saying don't tread on me.
Now the State regroups and comes after peaceful rioters and the roles reverse somewhat. Not me of course. I hate everyone and everything
