Having just been reminded of how badly the ATF fucked this up in Waco

This exactly. Not only not a fun place to go, but also very, very, very optimistic about how smart and thoughtful and disciplined "they" are to be able to piece it together and have it all fall into place without a hiccup. Like you say, certainly possible, but that's a low bar. I'd score it as unlikely.RaceBannon said:

Riots are outside everyone's "normal" and require abnormal response to quell them. But FYI they have police powers in the entire country and they need bodies out there to stop this lefty aided disaster! They don't have to be in riot gear there are many roles to fill.creepycoug said:

So you are equating ATF to DEA? Vastly different. DEA does law enforcement every day. Real actual on the street stuff. All major narcotics related. ATF doesn't. HTHGreenRiverGatorz said:

Let's take a step back for you. Going back to Wilbur's framing of this post, I think most can agree that the ATF getting involved in Waco was a massive abuse of federal law enforcement. Yeah, they had guns, but their main intent was to take down a religious cult. Way outside the ATF's purview, and 25 years later it's still considered one of the biggest miscarriages of federal law enforcement justice and one of the easiest examples of how shit can go wrong when you have overzealous federal cops following every justice boner they have.
The DEA getting involved in riots today would follow a lot of the same parallels, except they'd have even less justification to get involved than the ATF did back in Waco. What possible reason could the DEA have to jump into the fray? Marijuana possession of many of the rioters? Fuck that.
On to whats wrong with this whole picture:
Isn't it odd how all the lefty states the rioting is occurring in changed to "no bail" policies so rioters and looters can get right back to work? They also emptied the prisons and jails because of the"virus".
If you don't think much of this was planned in advance you're not paying attention! They are the virus!
To think that the officials were in on it is not a fun place to go
Not saying it isn't possible.
Adding on to your "not a fun place to go," I don't think people sufficiently reflect what a shit turn of events that would be if it were the case. Beyond hugely disappointing. But the country is full of people who feed on the drama of such potential scenarios ... almost like they want them to happen. And they go both ways - there's one going around now about Trump's walk to the church being a secret symbol and sign to some secret Evangelical Right group that supposedly goes back to some split in the Christian community at the conclusion of 1960s Civil Rights, where Falwell and his band of weirdos supposedly organized this "End of Days" stealth group who want to white wash America because White Supremacy and all that. You read this shit and it's almost comic book material. I, myself, and am a cynic and just don't think most people are that good to pull it off. It involves too many people and people fuck up and talk and eventually it gets out. Christ Nixon couldn't even spy on the Democrats and Bill couldn't even get a blow job and keep it secret. -

Look at all the laws and codes in that letter. Fuck. The book of laws should be around 100 pages -
And yes H's daddy should pay attention to what is going on. Its the same shit they did to him

Let's see. 1. Children's lemonade stands are illegal. 2. Build a tree house, need a permit. Now only 98 left. Way too many laws.RaceBannon said:

Looked into the brick thing bc I was genuinely curious. I'd say 81% is just confirmation bias of people looking for them now. Construction sites from when the vid made a good tim to get work in the street done.
18% *might be races buddies antifa, tankies, black block, and their supporters trying to escalate things ala fight club.
1% *might be false flag police, white supremacists, kkk, and whatever other boogeyman insincere can imagine but are more likely foreign actors attempting to add fuel to the fire. -
and in case @creepycoug and everyone else didn't already know I'm strongly opposed to any increase in surveillance.
This whole thing is a fucking thing BECAUSE WE LIVE UNDER A FUCKING POLICE STATE as Eric July might say. -
THAT’S what horrifies you about Democrat cities in anarchy and innocent people being assaulted and even killed while DemocRAT leaders tell police to stand down? Priorities...GreenRiverGatorz said:It's fucking terrifying that we have an acting DEA head who is actively trying to get involved in a situation that is so far removed from his agency's jurisdiction and purpose.
