Watch that video. He was a dominating college back with power and explosiveness and speed. He also coughed up exactly two fumbles in his career. One was vs Hawaii early in his first full season, and the next was in his last game at UW. That's a shit ton of carries and yarda later for a feature back who rarely came off the field.

I'm making the prediction that Newton will put up similar numbers and turn out to be a very, very good back when all is said and done. I like what I've seen from him, a lot. You can't teach his toughness and when he learns to truly utilize his skillset, I think we've got another great UW back in the making.
