Trey Lowe sells the couch

Yes, he can withdraw and allinsinceredawg said:If a player is in the portal but has not transferred anywhere yet, are they allowed to remain on their current team?

That's called processing your shitty players out. The big programs do it every year (which is why they all can take 25+ players every year). The Pac12 won't compete nationally until they start doing it too.Baphomet said:This is nothing. One of Oregon's best receivers is entering the portal because they don't want him to redshirt.

$5 says Oregon has already offered him a "slot" (LOL).

Feels like a good time to review Matt Lubick's much ballyhooed contributions to the program:insinceredawg said:
1. Colson Yankoff
2. Trey Lowe
3. Devon Culp
4. Taj Davis (who probably didn't come for Lubick since Lubick was completely shut down by that point)
At least he was a great WR coach! -
Chico is a local guy that has overcome a lot, so I think we’re all rooting for him. But deep down we know he isn’t that good, and is just as useless as the other senior WRs in this offense.

Don't forget his contribution of teaching the young guys about financial wellness. #Build4Life.dnc said:

This bothers me. Trey Lowe has talent. People will say he hasn't displayed it so no loss, opens up a spot. Well unless he is replaced in that open spot by equal or greater talent, then you have effectively "leveled down" which is precisely the opposite of the whole HH mantra. Now he hasn't seen the field because of medical issues, but if he sees no path to playing time, even when healthy, then that is a failure of the coaching staff to define that path for him. This team really needs to beat Utah or things could spiral to the detriment of recruiting.

I dont understand the credit given to Chico. He had a good run as a novelty in 2016. He was schemed open and usually managed to get what the play call gave him. He left yards on the table more often than not, even when his numbers looked stellar on paper. The play calls arent surprising anyone anymore and he's still leaving yards on the table.
The only difference between 2016 Chico and 2019 Chico is that he's not surprising anyone. He's the same player from what I can see.
The insistence of Pete and Hamdan on scheming roles for players who arent athletically special is the biggest thing holding back this offense. -
He'll go to Beavlet to get PT.

Watch the kick off return, Ross would have taken that to the house. He’s not even close to what he used to be pre injuryGreenRiverGatorz said:
We've so badly misused Chico. He's one of the quickest and fastest guys in the conference, with decent hands, yet we cannot seem to utilize him outside of a few end-arounds. Such a waste of talent.RoadDawg55 said:how many times has Lowe even suited up?
Btw, burn the Chico role. If we have Percy Harvin, fine. We don’t, so there is no need to force someone into the Chico role. It’s FS. -
He's got Beaver all over him.Meek said:$5 says Oregon has already offered him a "slot" (LOL).

Dude looked real fucking good at the fall scrimmage, I think we'll regret infection-ing him.

I wonder if he has the same condition as Kaho? Petersen disease... makes you lose 20 lbs and LEAVE!Emoterman said:Dude looked real fucking good at the fall scrimmage, I think we'll regret infection-ing him.

Remember when we passed on Pittman and Delgado because we already had Lowe waiting in the wings...
-
Our? coaches wouldn't have played them anyway, so it wouldn't have made a difference. Why play those guys when you can have someone like Baccellia shit himself play after play.DoogWhisperer said:Remember when we passed on Pittman and Delgado because we already had Lowe waiting in the wings...

Good point. You can't have someone mad at you for not playing if you don't recruit them in the first place.PurpleBaze said:

Yeah, I thought that was for sure going to the house when he crossed about the 20. There was nobody even near him.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

Thank God we got Puka last year. Now, we need a couple more of him. I’m hopeful about all three incoming WR’s being good. I think Raccanelli surprises although with the depth the way it is at LB, we maybe need him more there. Either way, he’s a good, tough, instinctual football player with size.DoogWhisperer said:Remember when we passed on Pittman and Delgado because we already had Lowe waiting in the wings...

Between Michael Thomas getting talked up for MVP, Terry McLaurin lighting it up as a rookie, Barry Sanders 2.0 transferring, and Myles Rice disappearing it hasn’t been a great month for Ballz.BleachedAnusDawg said:Best of luck to him, but one less midget WR is fine by me.
Ballz probably died of an aneurysm after reading that Sanders 2.0 is leaving. -
TAKE LV YOU COWARDS

I'm an optimist. Pete had a change of heart and is ready to do whatever it take to win. Kicked sickly Trey to the curb to make room for Gee jr. who he is flipping after he hooks his dad up with some exclusive interview rights.
-
Given the WR play this year and loyalty displayed by the coaches, if trey sucked he would have stayed. He good so he probably leaving because of it.

Sounds like the kid is a quitter. Hope he finds that magical playing time somewhere. I dont think he'll get an immediate waiver to play, good luck sitting out next year when you'd probably see the field here

Worked out fine for Camilo EiflerBeerThirty said:Sounds like the kid is a quitter. Hope he finds that magical playing time somewhere. I dont think he'll get an immediate waiver to play, good luck sitting out next year when you'd probably see the field here

Eifler wasn't a rsFR. Seems like nobody wants to pay their dues. He hasn't finished his second year in the program. The portal is fucking college football. Just my opinion
-
Well it might fuck us disproportionally given Pete's/position coach reluctance to play young talent.BeerThirty said:Eifler wasn't a rsFR. Seems like nobody wants to pay their dues. He hasn't finished his second year in the program. The portal is fucking college football. Just my opinion
