The only thing that keeps me going is hope. I know they've destroyed most of it over the last 3 decades, but I still wake up thinking that this may be the year. Right now, I can ask myself, are they better off as a staff than they were last year. Even if they fill the rest of the staff with guys from the IMA, I think the answer to that is yes. Do I have faith Jen can be in charge over a successful set of hires. Faith, no. But do I still have hope. Yeah. Why not. Doesn't cost me anything. (except the massive amounts my season tickets run each year) but I only have so many hobbies. I can only play so much golf. And the old cars I restore/collect/fuck up are going to be illegal in Washington soon enough when inlsee outlaws gas. Wife never wants to spend time with me. Most of my friends are dicks. On the record BTP's yearly prognostications are one of the best features about this bored. Sure, he's usually wrong, but who cares. He's right sometims, and even when he's wrong it's still fun.
In other news, how did we go from assembling one of the best staffs in the Pac-12 to shitsville so quick? FML. To be a Husky fan is to suffer.
