Some chatter about him ending up at Texas. You guys don't seem to broken up about it, but can he play?

That's what I figured. The good news is that he will fit in great with our current LBs.
I kept wondering who #41 was several games into the season. He was on camera a lot, but was rarely if ever in on the play except at the end or because he took up a contain position but didn't get in on the tackle.
I think he hot playing time early for the same reason. He doesn't make plays but is pretty assignment sound and steady. Ho hum pickup.
Watch out now that kwat is getting his guys in there.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. Texas fans are about to run Kwat out of town. Defense was historically bad this season. Even with an average / replacement level defense, Texas probably wins 3-4 more games.
Imagine blaming Kwait for a historically bad defense when Sark is the head coach
Which again is a condemation on Lake that he made a choice to leave Washington and join that shit show instead of stay here

TBF, Sark is a much, much better coach than Lake ever was

Seriously, sark>lake. Also sark got rings as an assistant at least
Our secondary unit next year could be horrific (2 years of Terrance and Willup recruiting + early NFL entries). It will be #thescript if all of a sudden we are able to score 40 points a game but give up 50

This. Of all the things we could hit the portal for, we need corners. I think Hampton, cook and williams may have just been horribly misused and are actually at least average.

he had like 7 pressures on 200+ snaps. He fucking sucked. I get he was a freshman but he wasn't a p5 level athlete.

We should be fine with Powell/Covington/Esteen/Cam/Dom/Cook/Elijah but our CB depth is extremely thin. Thanks Jimmy you fucking bitch!

Yeah, I like some of the guys we have and they definitely have potential to be great but you're going to be throwing a lot of guys out there next year with very little experience.
Jimmy and possibly Will Harris were terrible at choosing the right players. Cam Williams his freshman year and Kam Fab this year were the two most glaring examples.

It seemed the last few years a ton of UW recruiting was lazy path of least resistance type shit. "Oh, you'll commit? Great, we can coach you up! We're full now, let's shut it all down."

Because they overvalued guys for lucking into interceptions and fumble recoveries in practice over good coverage and tackling.

Mcduffie was the last one where they really recruited a prospect super hard.
Regardless of how hard they had to recruit them I think Covington and Spears have chances to be good based off of physical traits. Covington seems more like a safety out of high school though.

Not to mention they were going up against the most anemic offense in UW history in practice, and it probably wasn’t the first string..
