This is where Petersen could swoop in for the interim gig only. Perfect fit. It's probably not plausible but it's way more plausible in this scenario than him hiring back on full time in the offseason.

I hear you, but there is a larger deterioration and this is one symptom of that. The culture is broken and Lake is snapping under the pressure. He knows his ship is sinking and he doesn't know what to do about it. Lashing out like this is the action of a desperate, out-of-control man.
